• “Let it be known... The best thing in life is to go ahead with your plans and your dreams, to embrace life and to live everyday with passion, to lose and still keep the faith and to win while being grateful and humble. All of this because the world belongs to those who dare to go after what they want. And because life is really too short to be insignificant.”
So this morning Caleb woke up with a runny nose and so we decided to go to the park at the lake to get some fresh air and exercise. •
This lake is one of my absolute favorites. It’s like going to a different world. Away from the bustlin’ city, chaos, busy life, and to do lists. To just be able to stop, breathe, feel the stillness, soak in the moment and let go of the stress. •
I absolutely love lakes and the forest. It’s my happy place. Where is your happy place?
The rain on the tundra doth ravage and plunder....but also makes for a lovely landscape photo 👌📸
Hiked out today in sun, rain, sun and rain, hail and a couple of snow flakes... Curiously no rainbows! .

Excited to get up into the Eastern Sierra for what might be one of the last few backpacking 🎒🏕 trips of the season up there! The temps are already dropping below freezing in the High Sierra at night! #earthoutdoors

Weather in Kauai was unpredictable. One minute I was on the beach soaking up the sun, the next I had a towel over my head running to the car. We drove up into the mountains everyday hoping for the perfect window, always ending up in a cloud of mist and sun mixing together.
Rain, cloud, wind, and a bit of sun in between allowed for some of the most spectacular rainbows I’ve ever seen. It outweighed and outshined the less enjoyable conditions. Why am I going on about rainbows? I think they can be compared to a beautiful and happy moment that makes you forget the bad. 🌈 PC: @angelaliggs (my edit)
