Is traveling a investment? What do you think? .
Although I don't really stay at a place for so long that I can embrace the entire culture but the little I know is going to compile and turn out to be huge. For instance: I know I can travel cheap and yet enjoy the fun. .
When in Pondi, go for scooty rides and fish fries and everything that south India is famous for❤️ .
TBH, the cafe was bit expensive and I wasn't really looking for some fancy food so didn't went inside. Fun fact: most of the travellers usually don't😛
Fernweh: the opposite of homesickness. It comes from fern (meaning “far”) and weh (defined as “pain,” “misery” or “woe”). Fernweh, then, is “farsickness” or a “longing for far-off places,” especially those you've not yet visited.
A stunning vista: something about the combination of a spire reaching out to the skies with the mountains in the backdrop makes my heart skip a beat

Paris for the weekend with @soniashahidd and then onwards for a mini Euro Tour. Guess what cities we’re heading to! 🤩
So as per the advice shared by most people I used the rolling technique to pack my clothes in my bag pack and got this huge bag from @hm for my make up, accessories etc. #travelootd#parisbound#vacaymood

“The most important thing I’ve learned from traveling is to be respectful. To both the locals and their environment. Another major thing I've learned is that many people will tell you certain countries are dangerous and not to go there, because of what they’re seeing in the media.” - Joy Sheehan from @ajauntwithjoy
Welcome to our Rad Women series! This month for our first ever Rad Woman feature, we are so excited to have interviewed outdoor blogger and world wide traveler Joy Sheehan! This little glass elephant was @kunsthistorischesmuseumvienna and ‘Catherine of Austria, Queen of Portugal and sister of Charles V, acquired the small Indian made elephant in 1550 ... is among the earliest documented and preserved exotica acquired by the House of Habsburg...’ This wing of the museum had exquisite artworks in ivory, enamel, ceramics and much more. A very different life to the one I lead!
According to the local legend one day a woman went to the Lagoon to wash the clothes, she never came back. They were looking for her for days, weeks, months, but with no results. Exactly in a year after her disappearing the lagoon revealed her clothes... 😳

Finally 25! 🤩
Whaaat, you excited to get older Erika? YES, I am! I honestly like number 25 more than 24 🤷♀️. I feel very good physically and mentally and that’s important, no matter the age. I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be right now and that makes me happy! Thanks for sticking around and for all your lovely birthday messages ❤️!
I honestly wasn’t sure how my birthday would turn out this year, whether I’m gonna celebrate on my own or with some new friends but I was lucky enough to find all these amazing people here in Bali that are bringing so much joy and positive energy into my life these days! Bali is honestly the best place I could have chosen for myself.
Fun story: these balloons weren’t bought for me, we went for dinner and there was someone celebrating 25th birthday, so I had to take a picture! Like what are the chances, seriously? 😂😂 Life is funny sometimes but I do love all these little moments that makes me laugh and smile!
What was the last thing that made you smile/laugh? 🤗
Would you get up in the dark for this view?
Some people may hate me for this, but I’ve never really gelled with Asia. I enjoyed it, but I wasn’t in a rush to go back.
Myanmar has totally changed my opinion. I love it here. Already on my short trip I can say hands down Myanmar is my favourite country I’ve visit in Asia. The people, the landscapes, the food. It’s all there.
Make sure to add Myanmar to your bucket list and get here soon!

I’m enjoying my time in Myanmar like you could believe.
Something that happens when you travel solo is that the universe seems to give you exactly what you need.
At first, I was craving someone to talk to. After being in Myeik for 3 months I hadn’t had a proper conversation with anyone other than Ben due to broken English. So thank you to @bianci_berlin for being that person 💜
I then needed time to myself and Bagan was the perfect place for that. Hiring an ebike and riding through Old Bagan exploring temples and reflecting on life and what’s next.
I’ve had time to work on my blog and have been so inspired I love coming back at night to do just that.
I can’t wait to get all this content and travel guides down for you. I seriously want to share Myanmar with everyone. 📷 @kolattbagan2 you can hit him up for photos on Bagan!
