Another new PR today...in LIFE❗️ Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration.🎓 Today I stepped on a stage that challenged me more than physically. From switching majors twice, transferring from the University of Houston-main campus to the University of Houston- Clear Lake campus, late nights, early mornings, working part time, on top of training & getting ready for competitions really tested me to see if I really wanted this or not.
I transferred to the University of Houston-Clear Lake campus for my major & hands down it was one of the best decisions of my life.
I'm forever grateful for being able to compete & be a full time student because it taught me discipline, time management & commitment.
Thank you to the real ones who stayed by my side throughout this amazing journey & watched me evolve. Y'all know who you are & I'm thankful & blessed to have the support & love y'all continue to show me.
Here's to a bright future & to a great start in 2020!🖤🙏🏽🧿 #healthcareadministration#bachelorsofscience#classof2019#uhcl
Fun fact: my name Ciara means “dark haired beauty” in Irish. Mistakes happen I guess.🤷♀️ Self-Care Sunday ✨This is for all the ladies (and some gents) who request my hair regime!
I actually had a hair loss situation my freshman year of college from having the most literal nutrient deficient trash diet ever 😩 But after years of reverse habits WE BACK.
It’s hard to keep platinum hair healthy (yes, I highlight it but I’m still naturally blonde). @katielorrainek is my awesome stylist!
Did you know your health is reflected throughout your hair and skin?
I eat tons of colorful veggies, nutrient dense grains (brown rice, quinoa, sweet potato). I take omega oil, vitamin A, D, B complex, primrose oil, supplements every morning and eat healthy fats in my diet daily. (Coconut oil, olive oil, salmon, nut butters). I consume highish protein because protein is an essential chain in our body that makes up our hair, skin, nails. (Quality meats, organic protein powder, nuts, eggs, etc.) I don’t iron my hair often. Maybe 1-2 times a month and I use a heat protectant (Kevin Murphy products). I do use my hair in Mythic oil because for those who don’t know, curly hair is so dry and I live in cold dessert which doesn’t help... Oh and a major one for me is I never blow dry it. Ever. I don’t towel dry either (those fibers are very hard on your hair). I wrap it up in a t shirt to soak up excess water and we good ☺️ If you have any more questions on products I use etc. feel free to send me a DM!
Success is only possible when you decide failure is not an option and structure successful habits that eliminate the amount of choices you have to make each day. And so success is no longer a choice, but the only option- the only path paved by a series of thoughtful and intentional habits and the discipline to see them through.

When you don’t move like everyone else, it bothers people
I can’t wait for finals to be over 😩these past 2 weeks have probably been the most stressful and draining weeks of my college life. Junior year really is no joke 😅 spending over 6 hours in the library everyday really starts to drain you after awhile but I’m halfway there only 3 more finals to go then I get over a month off🙏🏻a month dedicated to the gym, relaxing, spending time with family and friends will make all this stress worth it
