Lago di Carreza - Karrer See
Another fine example of how good light can change a scene completely and make it worth the shot although there is no particular motive or subject.
On that evening in fall 2019 we were at the Lago di Carreza for the first time. The view is amazing and and it's rather easy to find a composition. But the light was just rubbish. It was very cloudy and every picture looked flat. By the end of the evening, the golden hour had almost passed, the light finally came through and we got our shots of the lake. The interesting thing was, that there was only a small gap in the clouds. As a result we got strong directional light in a certain but very limited area.
There is no subject in the picture and in fact the area was rather ugly as the trees have been blown down by the storm the year before BUT the light was just 👌

Räknar får. Kanske en bild för den som har svårt att somna? Eller för den som liksom jag funderar över hur betande djur format och formar vår natur. Från nutida arter till forntidens megaherbivorer. Multiexponering. Beskuren till kvadratiskt format för instagram.
Counting sheep. Something to look at if you can't get to sleep! Or if you like to ponder on how grazing animals have shaped our natural landscapes. From these sheep to the megaherbivores of the past. Multiexposure, cropped for instagram.
Lost and found
My mind, but only for a moment
All my crimes
Are safe beneath my heart
And I try, oh, I try
To pretend that I am fine
Tell me why, oh, tell me why
I need you by my side ...

One evening at this beautiful waterfall! The only picture without a lot of bokeh from the drops on my lens🤣
