When your friend tells you there’s an extra seat on a private plane if you want it, you say yes.
It was a spontaneous travel day, not knowing where we would end up. We showed up bright and early to the airport, looked at the weather & decided to head to breakfast in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Next, we heard there was some fall colors peaking in Northern Minnesota so we took a long detour around Wisconsin (avoiding the storms) and headed north. 🍂🍁
We landed in Bemidji early afternoon to say hi to Paul Bunyan & Babe the Blue Ox, grab some ice cream & a drink at the brewery. We hopped back in the plane for less than 20 minutes to land in Walker, MN. I did a some yoga on the runway, then we took off and flew all around Leech Lake. It was a gorgeous sight. Then we headed back to Minneapolis. I watched the sun set out the window for that last 1 1/2 hours straight. 🌅
Nature is stunning.
I’m grateful for my life.
I’m blessed with amazing friends and experiences.
What a great day. Just what my heart needed. 💕
How many times have you moved? 📦
In average, I move every year 😂 It's not that I love packing my life away or carrying heavy boxes but I do enjoy discovering a new neighborhood or city and the excitement of starting over again! Plus I get to start my hunt for the best café again! 😉 This weekend, I moved to Amsterdam from The Hague 👍
📸 This photo was taken at Het Binnenhof in The Hague. It is a beautiful historical building that hosts the Dutch Parliament. You can walk around for free ❤️

Dubrovnik is unlike any city i've ever been to. While it's quite crowded with tons of tourists, it's an amazing city to visit. We had dinner on the walls, and then adventured out early in the morning the next day to walk the walls before the crowds and the heat. Not pictured... all of us drenched in sweat because it was crazy hot even at 10am

Australia has its own amusement park with interesting history. Luna Park was built shortly after the Sydney Harbour Bridge to encourage residents to use the bridge. It still stands today and a fun way to spend an afternoon!
Stealing this caption, “summers over when I run out out of content” 😂
Had to recently say g’bye to Powell River and the boat until next May 😭 talk about summertime blues. It’s totally a thing for me, mainly because I can’t handle cold weather very well. Even in the middle of summer you can find me in a hot tub, like this fire burning one that’s set up right on the beach! (See why I love PR so much!!)
What will you miss most about summer?

My sketch of Mongolia ✏️🇲🇳 ⠀ ⠀
:: ⠀ ⠀
This time I did something a little different - I usually like to sketch and recreate one specific place from a country, or city, but this time I merged several of the places we visited into one drawing to represent the experiences from Mongolia better, and try to do justice to the diversity this country has to offer, resulting in the drawing you see above! ⠀ ⠀
:: ⠀ ⠀
Which elements or places do you recognize in the sketch? 😊
Did you know that smiling is clinically proven to improve your mood? It is also a great stress reliever and increases longevity. I choose to smile a lot simply because why not?! My life is far from perfect and some days are tough to crack one...but then I remember these facts and kind of force one out 😂 works like magic!
Well this day I didn’t need to trick myself, I was at my second home Belgrade with the love of my life watching a beautiful sunset....pretty damn perfect ❤️
Did you smile today? My next goal is to master the art of making someone else genuinely smile (this one is hard!)
Striving to create a more colorful life✨🎨
OK GUYS I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING. I don’t want to jinx myself here, but I’m so excited I just can’t freaking hide it.
I’ve been experiencing serious creative block the past few months. I couldn’t pin point it down to one thing... but I just haven’t been feeling myself.
Well... it finally hit me.
I stopped doing what I loved most.😧 Yep, that’s right. Me, the girl who always preaches about chasing your dreams, working hard & always doing what you love. I wasn’t taking my own advice.
You know how there’s some things that just light your soul on fire?
That’s design for me... (with video & photography coming in a close second).
Lately... I’ve been focusing on all the wrong things. Hopefully this doesn’t come across as disrespectful... but I was neglecting an online marketplace that has given SO much to me... in favor of a platform that is completely saturated & forces me to undervalue my worth as a creative.
I’m not here to trash talk. I am SO incredibly grateful for the wonderful opportunities I’ve had in my creative journey thus far.
But sometimes you have to realize what’s meant for you and what’s... not. I was spending so much time just trying to stay afloat against the competition. And for what reason?
With the risk of sounding narcissistic, my work is GOOD. I’ve spent countless hours (about 14 hours/day to be precise!) on this creative biz of mine. And I am NOT here to beg anyone to buy my products. No no, none of that.
I’m not shutting down shop anywhere. But I AM shifting my creative energy elsewhere. 👉🏼 you can find me on 🌟Creative Market🌟, YouTube, my own website... and of course, Insta ;)
If any of you are considering starting a creative biz (or have already), there’s one piece of advice I have for you. Please... do NOT ever get side tracked by dollar signs. Whatever you’re really good at... whatever lights your soul on fire and makes you stay up all night working on it... do that.
The money will follow.👑
Last week, I had the absolute privilege to represent the @utwente at the ECIU Symposium on Student Wellbeing in Aveiro, Portugal! It was super informative and I met some extraordinary people but if there's one thing I learnt it's that "business trips" are definitely an experience, especially when they're topped off with bed bugs and discussions with white men about feminism. Here's some impressions from beautiful Aveiro! 🇵🇹
"Recognize the jewel 💎 within, what lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared what lies within us" -Raplh Waldo Emerson- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We could spend almost a whole day here with so many things to explore, needless to say, we can now bid goodbye to hassle of long transit waiting hours 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♂️
Just don't miss out your next flight 😅 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
🛫 The world's tallest indoor waterfall standing at 40 metres, is a part of a new complex that cost S$1.7 billion. 🛬 More than 280 food outlets and shops were added to the airport.
Surrounded by a 🌳🌳 forest terrace setting, the Rain Vortex is currently the world's tallest indoor waterfall 💎

Early morning stroll at the big garden 🌳🌳🌞 you will need a minimum of two hours to round this huge park.
What's the latest instagrammable place you've visited? 😍 The last year when I was still living in the Netherlands, I was really overwhelmed with job, thesis and so on... I didn't even have many pics around (I wasn't in ig mood yet) 🙈 It took me 7 months to go back to Amsterdam to take a pic in one of the most instagrammable spots of this beautiful capital ❤️ Dadaaaan how do you like it?
💡Travel tip: To find this spot in Damrak canal (called also Red Carpet of Amsterdam), take the main street leading into the city centre, it runs from Amsterdam Central railway station to Dam Square 👌🏼
Top 10 Instagram Spots in Rome... and when to visit them (save this post for later!) 👍🏽⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Trevi Fountain: Arrive just before sunrise, by the time the first rays appear there will be others there (10-20) - but you’ll still be able to get some good shots.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Spanish Steps: Go straight from Trevi to the Spanish Steps. They stay relatively empty until 7:30AM.
3. Piazza del Popolo: I then went from the Spanish Steps to this Piazza. It stayed pretty empty until 8:30AM, but it’s so big that crowds don’t really matter.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Colosseum: Surprisingly not busy in the morning. I was the only person at the viewpoint from above Colosseo metro station until 8:30AM.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Pantheon: I arrived at 7AM and it was empty.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. Piazza Novana: I went from the Pantheon to this Piazza which stayed quite empty until 8:30AM.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
7. Castel Sant’ Angelo: Arrive just before sunrise to get the lit up lantern effect above (shoot in lowest possible ISO to lift shadows and brighten), but it will stay relatively empty until about 7AM.
8. Vatican: I went from Castel to Vatican, I arrived at 6:50AM and there were not many people about.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
9. Roman Forum: Head here for great sunset views (lookout from behind the Capitoline Museums).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
10. Gelato Shops (as you’ve seen in my numerous insta-stories 🤣): Visit anytime, my favourite are Come il Latte, Gelateria del Teatro + Gelateria Corona. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Battle of the beignets! 😋
The beignets of New Orleans may be world-famous, but I’m not here to tell you which one is the best. What I *am* here to tell you is that there are so many amazing things to eat in @visitneworleans that you’d be missing out if these delectable little treats were the only thing on your radar! 😜 Here are a few other things I loved eating in NOLA and where to find them:
•Grilled oysters at @acmeoyster. We went there twice it was so good!
•Raw oysters at @superiorseafood. They’re only .50 cents per oyster during happy hour 😱
•Chicken and waffles at @morrowsnola - it’s a celebrity hot spot for a reason!
•Jazz Brunch at @commanderspalace 🎷 get the biscuit and gravy!! You won’t regret it 🥰
•If you do go hunting for beignets I do have an extra tip - go to the @cafedumonde’s second location at the Riverwalk Outlets faster service and less crowds! They taste exactly the same as the original location 😉
Are you a foodie traveler? Do you go to the hot spots or hidden gems?

Boujee mornings aboard @presidentcruises, boat watching in Ha Long Bay. You think the person from the other boat's looking back at me too? 😅
If you missed my cabin tour of this fancy ship, it's on my Vietnam 2 highlights.🇻🇳 Hope everyone's weekend's relaxing, not spent doing laundry and unpacking, like someone I know! 🤷🏼♀️😆
