Recently I listened to a podcast called “The Gift of Imperfection” with @rebekahlyons and @caitlincrosby. The message was so life-giving yet convicting, and Caitlin’s words especially encouraged me ✨Just like keys have scratches and dents and imperfections, we have scars and marks that show we’ve lived. It’s so comforting to know that we are loved, always. No matter what, God loves us and calls us to Himself 💛 What a beautiful picture of our loving Savior and how He embraces us in His love! The Psalmist wrote, “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14 🌟 You are a unique and powerful warrior who God created perfectly in His image. Despite what happens in the world, your identity is unchanging. If you believe in God, you are a child of the Almighty King, Savior of the World. 💛 Rooted in steadfast love, “all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.” 1 Peter 3:8 💛

We have been apart for too long. We have allowed ourselves to walk blindly and not notice the very disease our country is facing. Racism is real, but we can come together, united under one God and change this together. No longer will the color of your skin define who you are, but who you father is! #unitedwestand#togetherasone#godscreation
No makeup. Wind blown hair. Grey roots and freckles galore. My favorite jam! Growing up I had a few years where I DESPISED MY FRECKLES. I’m talking it could be hot as heck and I wouldn’t wear anything shorter than 3/4 length sleeves and capris. Now I LOVE them. I’ll ask the boys to count them 🤣. Purpose of this is to tell all my peeps out there; white, black, brown, old, young, male, female, etc. Own it! Love it! God created every inch of you. How could you not. 😍. #godscreation#loveyourself#ownit#yourareperfect
Beautiful sunny day ☀️☀️ to visit a provincial park near our home today. My friend Katy and I and all the kiddos we did a picnic and a quick hike and enjoyed the weather today. Since we’ve been at home for weeks now, I have truly enjoyed walks in nature, and this summer I want to go outside as much as I can. It is good for our brain and our soul to take a break and recharge. The Bible says that nature declares the glory of God and it really does. Today we saw the mountains, river, lots of flowers, birds, cows and horses, etc. We both said how blessed we are to have these parks so close and enjoy our time outside. I have never been more grateful for good health, for life and for family and friends I truly love. .
I can’t wait to see what beautiful trails we’ll discover this summer and see God’s glory in His amazing creation. My heart is so full and in awe of our beautiful planet God designed for us. ❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦 .

This pic from last weekend. Isn’t it gorgeous? @vancegresser. “Thunderstorms are as much our friends as the sunshine”. A cue from nature💜
I promise this is the last post from my Sunday hike at Cucamonga Peak. They’re videos from my hike. There’s even one of me sharing my struggle up the mountain trail. •Elevation 8,858 ft

Mint and basil 🌱🌱
🌥️Mint require some protection from direct sun.
☀️Basil will grow best in a location that gets 6 to 8 hours of full sun daily
💦 Basil plants like moisture.
💦Mints thrive in light soil with good drainage.
For both of them ➡️➡️ If you live in a hot area, use mulch around the plants it will keep the soil moist.
