I would like to tell you about a most wonderful game called Up The Dunes Down The Dunes. Before you can play, you have to get through to your humans, because they do not always speak Dog well. Put on your I Have Not Done Anything Fun In Lots Of Seconds look, but if that does not work, Dining Room Table Zoomies With Loud Barking should get your point across nicely.
Once the humans figure out what you want, the rest is easy. We go down to the beach and do not invite Bad Guy Leash. Then my dad takes a handful of treats and climbs to the top of the dunes. Once he is there, he calls us, and we do Fast Paws Up The Dunes - treats! Well, my Lab and I do - the Collie mostly supervises.
Once we are on top, my mom yells Down The Dunes and ohhhhhhhhhhhhh wheeeeeeeeee, so fast, zoom through the dune grass, treats! On the way down, I feel a bit like a Flying Duckdog, and sometimes I run right into the Giant Water Bowl and make my mom say Oops Too Cold.
If you get a chance to play, I highly recommend Up The Dunes Down The Dunes. The only downside is that once you get home, Dining Room Table Zoomies With Loud Barking might not sound like a good idea, but just give it a few seconds. You will be zoomieready again before you know it. Love, Tavi
Full of personality, smarts and an inquisitive nature, we often see Miss Toula sprinting off to investigate something that peaks her interest with her tail waving high like an airborne flag. This photo is my all time favorite of her beautiful tail, because it literally forms the shape of a question mark; a visual image of where in the world she is off to find her next adventure! Even though she has temporarily lost some of her feathering and fluff, (like humans, Mama dogs lose hair after giving birth due to the drop in progesterone levels), she still proudly waves her barren tail high, and has bounced back from her last pregnancy like a champ. This is one side effect of puppy birthing that we haven’t been able to avoid, despite trying many various remedies. Fortunately the fur grows back fairly quickly once her hormones stabilize, and it won’t be long until she is prancing around with her signature tail all fluffy and full, looking like a million bucks again! 🐾🐾💕 #gambelsgoldens #gambelsgoldenstoula #lgdesignsphotos2019
