I forgot to share this a few weeks ago. If you look closely you can see glitter on her face. She for ahold of a gift bag and of course she thought it was food. Haha. She is just too precious!!! I love watching her explore the world. #grandkids are the best!!!
I became an instant grandparent when I married my husband (he’s a bit older than me)! And that brought me two of the most amazing little girls (one was my flower girl for my wedding). Since then, this wonderful life has brought me 9 beautiful granddaughters 💗. Has anyone else become an instant grandparent?
‘Oma, this is a ripped bum. Right here. Can you tell us if you can fix it?’
I’m always amazed by the details my child remembers about his grandparents - even though he has ALWAYS lived at a distance from them . He told me that Oma knits and so she needs to come to America ( from England) and fix his bear.
Anyone else get requests like this from their grandchildren?!
Long distance grandparents often worry their grandchildren won’t know them. But take heart because they are ALWAYS watching and getting to know you - no matter the distance between ❤️🌍❤️
Head to my stories to see the video of this ever so sweet request 🙌❤️
My gift on the day Conor and Bethany moved out. He hid it inside my laptop. Then asked me why I wasn’t on my computer. Later Bethany told me there’s a surprise in my computer. “I love you gram, you are the best gram in the whole wide world. I love you gram.”
“To the best gram ever. From Conor Snow. I love you again.”
Robert got one too.
I’m not crying, you’re crying! #Grandkids#Family#Grateful#Kids#GrownKids#emptynesters
Great idea for schools. Just walked with my grandson's school Walking Group. They meet every wed 6.00pm parents and children go for a walk around the city. Last for first 5 weeks of term. #walking#limerick#greatoutdoors#grandkids
Happy grandparents day mami & papi. You both make my children feel so special and I’ll forever be grateful for that. My parents are amazing but they are even better grandparents. Thank you for loving them and for always being there for them🥰

Guys I gotta be honest...I really REALLY want Jeremy’s parents to move closer. I know they want that too but it’s hard to be patient. They are seriously awesome grandparents and always have the sweetest attitudes about watching the kids and wanting to be with them. And it shows because the kids LOVE them so so much! ❤️❤️❤️ .
And selfishly it would be so nice to have babysitters nearby so maybe Jer and I could have a date night regularly! My parents both still work so they have a more complicated schedule...and I know they would love to have more family nearby too for special events! .
I say all that because Jeremy and I got to tackle a really fun makeover this week and it only happened because Gramps and Grammy took the reigns for 36 hrs! They were the real heroes this week. So that leads me to my next question...do you guys have family nearby? Do they help out? I’d love to hear how everyone does it differently bc I know we all have different situations and I would love to know how you guys find balance!
All the kids as they were packed and ready to go for nanas house yesterday.. well, almost.. we forgot half of their pyjamas 🙈
We definitely aren’t used to getting a night off but my mum bought Ro tickets to @hilltophoods for his birthday back in June and offered to have the kiddos for the night 🤗
Woo! We went to @thehummusclub for dinner and ate way too much 😂😋 and then had an awesome time out at the concert ☺️
The kids had chips and vegan fish fingers for dinner. My mum isn’t vegan but she always goes out of her way to find or make vegan food for us and is so supportive always 🌱💫
The kids love their nana and I’m so happy they get to have a relationship with her. Thanks for everything mama @tarmlacook 💖
