Tonight’s COVID-19 study presentations were about “Front-liners”👩🏻⚕️🧑🏼⚕️👨🏽⚕️
We hear & see the word “Front-liners” so many times, however children don’t really understand what that means and who actually are. What are “PPE”❓ What can we do to support❓ Besides staying home❓
They learned about how hard those health care providers have been working, critical shortages of PPE we are facing, how people have been helping each other, how the world are responding, how should we act...and a lot of things even though they couldn’t put everything into words to present tonight, they learned a lot. During the process of researching, I talked a lot about such sacrifices those front-liners are making, what risks they are facing all the time, how selflessly they do work...by showing actual news sources. Because we all must know.
Now they know why we all are thankful for those health care providers and essential workers, and how wonderful to see people & world are responding to critical situations.
Both did really good job, and earned another shopping budget😙

If Gods word is consuming our mind, Gods word is going to control our life. This is good, great and glorious, but what is happening when Gods word isn't a consistency in our life? What is happening when we fill ourselves of other idols, addictions and sin of all kind in our life? If we can take a moment to stop and be honest and ask ourselves, what idols are in my life that I'm putting before God? What thing in my life am I finding my identity in? What area of sin seems to be my hardest battle? What area of sin do I find myself consumed in? We can sit and justify all day why we do what we do (we're all guilty of this) there's always a reasoning for things isn't there? •
But are we not better than that? Are we not called to be higher than that? Do we not call ourselves Jesus followers? Do we not want to honor our Father? Do we not have the very same spirit dwelling within us that raised Christ from the dead, to be an OVERCOMER? Girl, you got some power! But yet so quickly we forget that what we feed into our spirits is going to be the outcome of our lives. What are we going to fill ourselves up on? •

🔹️ The Achilles tendon connects the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles to the calcaneus, or heel, of the foot.
✅ The main function of these muscles are to accept load during the loading phase of gait and for pushing off in the terminal stance phase of gait .
💥 This is a common structure that gets inflamed and irritated with runners.
The best exercises to do for Achille's tendinitis involve eccentrically loading the tissue. This has been shown in the research to be the best exercise for treatment with this type of injury. 💯
1️⃣ For the first exercise, stand with your feet hip width apart. Perform a heel raise and go up onto your toes. Pause. Now slowly lower to a count of 3 back to the starting position. Perform 10 reps for 3 sets.
2️⃣ Advance this exercise by performing the heel raise with both legs, then shifting your weight onto 1 leg and then slowly lower to a count of 3 seconds. Perform on each leg for 3 x 10.
3️⃣ The next progression is to perform this entire movement all on one leg. Be sure to repeat on the opposite side!

We've got at least 24 more days to put in WERK and come out of this better off than where we started! I think it’s totally possible as long as we are focused on what we DO have what we CAN do and HOW we show up one day at a time!💪🏽
My focus will be on:
✅foam roll/stretch every night
✅nutrition on point
Because I want:
💛to feel well rested and full of energy
💛to give my body extra care and help recovering
💛to change my body composition
