I decided to make this morning a self care morning. I really wanted to attend my event this morning, but when I woke up, my body decided I needed to stop. Listen to your body. Sleep deprivation has caught up to me and before it got dangerous, I decided to slow down. I slept in this morning, read a good book for a while, and i’m taking care of me. This is my day starter this morning. This shake has all the nutrients & protein of a full breakfast plus a scoop of my immunity defense and 2 scoops of my Mocha Iced Coffee to kick start my day. I’m counting down to leave for Los Angeles Wednesday morning for more adventures and I still have so much to do, but this morning I will slow down and just breathe. Turkey Egg Roll Bowl 🍲 ⠀⠀
Makes 3-4 servings⠀⠀
1 lb ground turkey⠀⠀
2 tsp sesame oil⠀⠀
2 minced garlic cloves⠀⠀
2 chopped green onions⠀⠀
2 tsp grated ginger⠀⠀
1 bag coleslaw mix ⠀⠀
1/4 cup coconut aminos (or soy sauce) ⠀⠀
1 T Sriracha (if you like it hot! 🔥)⠀⠀
*brown turkey over medium heat, while breaking into pieces. Add sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and green onions. Sauté 2 mins. ⠀⠀
*add coleslaw mix, sauté and allow to wilt down. Add aminos and cook for 2 mins. Finish with sriracha. ⠀⠀
*top with sesame seeds or more green onions and enjoy! ⠀⠀
BONUS! Mix a little mayo with soy sauce and sriracha for a creamy sauce to drizzle on top 🤗⠀
