We were asked by @cassie.sd how to teach a head down, we use the command nose down instead but it's the same concept!
In this video I apologize for my voice I'm sick 😅 but I do explain how to teach the command in a rewarding way for your pooch! It may take a few times and days for them to get it right but persistence is key, this is also how we taught not to beg for food. This takes a while because it requires their focus be on the command and keeping their nose down which is super boring so I recommend starting at 1-2 second intervals then increasing as they get better!! Our favourite confidence building is going to our local school on weekends /evenings/ etc when it's closed and using the play ground. By building her confidence in her ability to trust us and her self on different surfaces even wobbly ground and still obey commands, we work towards eventually being able to run with no leash side by side up to the top and back down to middle bridge with a stop down. A big part of confidence building is actually done through regular training too, the more you set them up for success the more confident they become. We also practice things such as dance, up (sit pretty) and bow. If your pup knows paws up on something start adding weight to their paws so put treats on their paws with a leave it, and see how long they can hold it. Start with a few seconds etc. Any moment can be a confidence building exercise. Those balls outside target work amazing, get them to stand on them and stay! Sit on them and stay! It builds them up soooo much!!! Check out our Pawtners too @candpadventures @bunatyourservice @orion.sdit @merandbeesdit
This spot's an eyelash in my eye. Is that a saying? I'm making it one if not! It's been functional but not felt quite right enough to finish. Now I know why! It's scheduled for a tear out in a few weeks and we are SO EXCITED. .
Yeah. CAPS excited. So you know it's good. .

I threw up every day for 10 days (acted normal bedsides that). Guess what I finally threw up which caused all this puking 🙄 *before people freak that I let him puke this long. I did call vet. Was going to take him in on Monday & then on Saturday he got out what he needed to & hasnt puked since. Thanks beau for saving me $500 in vet bills 😂

So sweet, this little girl wanted a pen and paper to write down what kind of dog Summit is so she could ask Santa to bring her one for Christmas!! 💚
So, now that I’m 4 years old, mum’s been wondering if she still needs to confine me to certain parts of the house when I’m alone or if I can be trusted to have free rein. Today I answered her question.
