Bud, your beautiful🌼... No matter you bloom or not!!! The ability to accept any situation or being, in the way it was created and not trying to change or tamper it, is the most important learning from life!
Third bridge of 'ಸೇತುಬಂಧ - Bridging Life' was built last weekend. This is across a stream which is beside our neighbour Mahendra Simha's property. This was built by our neighbour Manohar Joshi and local skilled personnel Shekhar Gowda and team.
We are thankful for their support and for joining hands in this community event.

Nature is everything which surrounds us with beautiful environment. We see and enjoy it every moment. We observe natural changes in it, hear it and feel it everywhere. We should take full advantage of the nature and go out of home for the morning walk daily to breathe pure air and enjoy morning beauty of nature. All though the day it changes it beauty like in the morning when sun rises everything looks bright orange and then yellowish. In the evening when sun sets it again becomes dark orange and then light dark. #Natural_Connects_Nature #Natural_Rakhe_Nature_Ko_Paas

DAHLING, if you know this kween well, then you know that occasionally she buys two of the same plant and will place them in different parts of her apartment just to see how they fare in slightly different conditions. While I’m a huge fan of googling plant care tips and seeking advice from my amazing plant frands, I also find that a lil planty experimentation can be fun and exciting 💁🏽♀️🌿💚
Ms. Hoya Carnosa, also known as the porcelainflower or wax plant, is a green gurl I was excited to welcome into my plant fam. Native to Eastern Asia and Australia, this kween has been in cultivation for almost 200 years and is a green gurl that can easily be found in most plant shops 🛍🌱
One day a kween was generous with herself and decided to welcome two Hoya Carnosas into her plant fam. I had heard that Hoyas in general enjoy bright light so I was a little hesitant, because I knew that I had limited space and the lighting in my apartment was not the best. But the plant parent in me was determined, hunty!!! 💪🏾
Through my fun little experimentation I found that this kween enjoys bright indirect light, she did not do well in artificial light and her leaves burned when I put her in direct sunlight, so I placed her in an area that allows her to get at least 6 hours on bright indirect light ☀️
Like most green gurls, Hoyas are susceptible to root rot, so I’ve always made sure to let the soil dry out completely before watering. In the warmer months I water every week and in the colder months, about every 2-3 weeks 💦 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Once I found a spot in my apartment that Ms. Hoya Carnosa seemed the most happy with, I made sure to keep her there. I did not have space for her twin sister so I gifted the second Hoya to a good frand who I knew had the space for her to thrive. My future goals for this green gurl is to repot her, as I’ve had her in the same pot for about a year now ... I’ve read that Hoyas enjoy behind root-bound, but I think it’s time for a new pot cuz, gurl, she has grown. She is also an epiphyte so I will be getting a moss pole for this kween in the near future to allow her to climb 💚
Cheers to the freakin’ weekend, kweens!!!
