• NOSTALGIA •⠀
The beautiful Abbotsford 'Conundrum Castle' and the home of the great poet and novelist Sir Walter Scott.
Not only is this a stunning place to visit but this fabulous home also has a wealth of history which makes it well worth a trip if you're visiting Scotland.

The rooftops of Kaifeng. Now a sleepy provincial town, deep in Henan, Kaifeng was once the capital of China. During the Northern Song Dynasty, it was known as Bianjing and served as the imperial capital, until it fell into the hands of the Jurchen invaders from the north.
You don’t always need to be getting stuff done. It’s okay to shut-down, kick back and do nothing at times!
Uncertain, riddled with doubt, isn’t it what life is really about?
In all of this, at least sometimes we must learn to just stop and savour.
Maybe then, we’ll appreciate the present, not linger over the ‘what ifs’ and ‘if I had’.
& yes, for even just living, we should be glad!
Travel once to a less crowded place, to a place which isn’t touristy and stay with the locals, eat the local cuisines, enjoy and appreciate the beauty in their living, go with the flow for a few days, take it slowly and then, may be then, you’ll understand what I mean 🍂

Last weekend we explored this quaint little village in California called Capitola. It was long due on my California bucket list, especially for its colorful pastel houses on the beach.
Here’s few recommendations on things you can do in Capitola:
1. Walk around colorful houses on Capitola beach
2. Visit Shadowbrook restaurant
3. Rent a bike and ride around the village
4. Go fishing on the wharf
5. Watch sunset over capitola cliffs
6. Food is amazing here, I would recommend restaurants on the capitola beach, they are all amazing.
Let me know how you like this place!! Happy exploring! 🌴💒🏡⛪️🌴 @capitolavillage@capitolabythesea@visitsantacruz

The view over London and gorgeous interiors of the Nest rooftop bar on the 16th floor of the new @staytreehouse hotel [invite]. There is also a Mexican restaurant Madera on the 15th floor and Backyard coffee and wine bar on the ground floor. More on stories!

Fresh air, wind in your hair, tall mountains, fascinating fog, beautiful lakes, grazing sheep and breathtaking views. hiking out to the lighthouse at Kallurin.
These are some of the things you will experience while hiking in the Faroese mountains.
One of the many special features of the Faroe Islands is that you don’t have to go far to experience magnificent and untouched nature.
Look around you. Take a few steps. Take a deep breath and listen. It’s all right there!
