As we get a few weeks into the New Year, have you stuck with your resolution, your change you had in mind, or even the thing you wanted to take on?
Fun fact- I haven’t. But that’s okay!
My GOAL was to post everyday on my fitness page. Make some sort of exercise, motivation post, life update, or something like that. But i fell off. I had days where i wasn’t able to and just got too busy.
What matters most is what you do the most of. If you had a goal in mind, don’t worry about falling off for a day or two, heck even a week! Just start again!
What you do most is going to become the life long routine. Not just a short, give it your all attitude. No just make it a lifestyle. If you want to workout 7x a week, think about what’s most sustainable. Maybe 3x. If you want to post EVERYDAY on social media and put that before friends, family, work, LIFE... Consider what’s most important and most realistic.
You’ll develop the good habits by finding out the ones that don’t work. It’s not realistic for me right now to post daily, if i could that would be great! It’ll be more realistic to maybe do 5x a week! So i didn’t give up my New Year goal, i just changed it to something i can stick to!
Don’t be afraid to do the same with yours! Make it fit your lifestyle. Don’t make your lifestyle fit it. The key to long term success is daily habits and trends.
