I did not behave like a health and fitness coach this weekend 🤭😈. I ate pizza Friday, Saturday & Sunday, I didn’t work out at all (except that twerk class last night and I am actually sore AF 🤣🍑), aaaaand I woke up hungover 😑. Definitely not feeling healthy and vibrant today 🙈.
I’m telling you this because I used to silently stalk my coach on FB and even though I really wanted to have the healthy lifestyle I saw her *learning* how to live, I would tell myself I could never do that because I don’t wanna give up the occasional pizza, champagne or cookies. I was also a procrastinator and a perfectionist so I never really felt “ready” and it never really feel like the “right time” to try.
Those were just self limiting beliefs and maybe you have some too, but they begin to lose power when we become aware of them 🙏🏻.
✨NOW I realize — and am living proof that— you really don’t need to be perfect to be successful!!! 👏🏼👏🏼 I still indulge, I still treat myself 💁♀️, I still have that YOLO mindset 🤘🏼😆... so if I can do this as a recovering procrastinating perfectionist SO 👏🏼 CAN 👏🏼 YOU 👏🏼.
So like... am I proud of my behavior this weekend? 🙈 Not necessarily lol, but it honestly doesn’t matter because as a coach I have the resources and support I need to get right back on track. Tomorrow I’m going to be started a BRAND NEW workout program and I can’t wait to show you and tell you guys all about! 😍🤸🏼♀️🙌🏼
If you wanna chat more about my online wellness programs and how it all works when you partner with me as your coach shoot me a message! Always here to help! 💌
You know you‘re winning when you‘re happy for no reason. When you don‘t attach your happiness to anything or anyone around you, you become free.
Don‘t put your happiness in other people’s hands, they‘ll drop it. They‘ll drop it everytime. Why? Because of our expectations. Because each human being is different and act different. Expectations kill you. In every aspect of your life.
If you don‘t have what you want, you‘d better start doing something about it. If nobody wants to join you, do it anyway. Don‘t wait for moments which might never happen. Go and make them on your own.
Take yourself out for dinner. Book that plane ticket. Doll up for you. Do whatever you want to do on your own. It doesn‘t say lonely, it screams confident.
Without a doubt one of the most amazing parts to being trans is finding connections and community anywhere based on this shared experience. Julia (@rawjewlz) originally messaged me on Instagram over some jewelry and little did I know that would be the start to something wonderful!
She came out to visit me recently and she was every bit as charming and witty and dorky and gorgeous as she comes across as through her Instagram page. We talked about both of our work with advocating for LGBTQIA+ youth and discussed the privilege that allows our visibility and the responsibility that privilege gives us to try to lift others up. We shared stories and learned about each others’ world and I never would have met here if I wasn’t trans.
Sometimes this journey is really hard and requires stupidly humongous tests of patience. Sometimes the world can be really shitty towards us. But people like Julia help me see that a light shining brightly is more powerful than any darkness. 💖💙💖
Flying back to Delhi tomorrow morning and I can't even explain my feelings.♥️ Jaipur will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️ .
