Not only do I do this with my work, I try to do it with everything life throws my way. Sometimes that makes me slow, sometimes it gives me more anxiety, but mostly it makes me feel good about the decisions I make and the pieces I create.
We have become so blinded by an 𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦 that has been instilled in us. An image that often brings us crippling anxiety trying to achieve and completely distracts us from actually living our lives; flipping the switch to living on auto-pilot.
We often need two incomes; fancier houses, cars, name brands - with higher divorce rates and broken homes. Less time for our babes, more time for 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴.
I have taken so much time to sit still with these thoughts the last few months and recognize where it is present in my life.
𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻. We have been set up; 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩.
We have learned how to make a living, but not a life.
Take time to listen and give attention to those little people that look up to you in awe. They won’t be little for long. If you ever wonder what or how they will be when they are grown, take a good look at yourself.
Hold hands and cherish the people who walk beside you.
I am grateful for these hands that I get to hold. I am grateful for the love shared and 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘥 between us.
I am grateful for the awareness and gained perspective; for being honest and open to making the uncomfortable changes necessary for me to really 𝘓𝘐𝘝𝘌.
Dayyuumm, no filter. That's just how the picture came out. Let Your Light Shine Through Like The Noon Day Sun. Its absolutely Gorgeous out here today. Grateful I can be present and enjoy the blessings and the beauty of Mother Nature. My son is coming home today maybe for a week or two for now. He's got baseball workouts starting this week at his new school...... Freakin High School!! 😆🙃🤪🤗
Love this garden so much. It has hosted every summer birthday party, every autumn Sunday spent apple picking as a family, every spring lunch and every winter drink on the patio by the fire since we moved in when I was 4. Such a happy place to be with so many lovely memories 💛 #soppypost#itsthesimplethings#livealifeoflove#happyheart
We are human beings, we are not perfect beings. We did not come into life knowing exactly what to do in every situation.
We came here to learn from every experience and then use the teachings to make wise choices and take actions that help us grow, evolve, and rise to the success and happiness we desire.
Remember what the great Maya Angelou said, when we know better we do better. When we rise, we all rise.
So why would you ever give up on you and your great becoming loves? 🖤

Your job is setting and
maintaining your boundaries.

It is my hope that my @peacefulmindpeacefullife blog today can serve as a little loving reminder that despite everything that is happening in the world, you are worthy of your hopes, dreams, and loving relationships.
There is nothing that you have to do, say, or accomplish to be and feel worthy; you just simply are.
Understand this deeply and choose to be with someone who values you and treasures your worth.
From my blog:
“There is nothing that you have to do or achieve or accomplish to be worthy. It is your birthright to feel worthy in every moment of your life, and ultimately have the life of your dreams, but it is also your responsibility to uncover and break down the barriers and beliefs you have put in place blocking it.”

When you wake up in the morning close your eyes and before getting out of bed whisper to yourself, "Thank you for the gift of this new day."
Beginning the day with a foundation of gratefulness for your life, the miracle of being alive for another day of living, sets the tone for every decision and action you take. 🌸

Remember the words of Martin Luther King, Jr.:
"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”
We will never have it all figured out, we're changing all the time and so is life, so don't wait just take the first step. This is your one precious life so learn from the past and keep moving forward. 👣
