ESPUMA Fest 5️⃣ #Aloha#Hawaii ⛱️💥 Somos Mas que un Evento!
Had the honor and pleasure of attending my first two chadō tea ceremony classes while I was just in Hilo, HI. Enjoyed some delicious matcha and made some new friends and left with my own fukusa (silk cloth) and sensu (fan) and an immediate desire to learn more. Tea ceremony is strongly associated with zen practice; it's pretty obvious when you see it, too, as the focus is on mindful execution of ritualized movements and present-moment attention with other people over tea and tasty snacks.
(My ankles might not be as happy about it as the rest of me, though. Man, I'm not used to sitting like that!)
Uly & Ernesto: I’ve been watching their videos for almost 2 years now, and I’ve been enamoured by them from the start. I refer to them as “my friends”, even though we’ve never met, and it’s because they make you feel like you’re actually in their lives...and that’s not a common trait amongst YouTubers. In a world where many gay YouTubers all look alike and have very similar content...I was suddenly recommended a video of these two beautiful Latino men who were in a loving relationship, and I’ve been watching their content on a weekly basis! They’re always funny, cheeky, and witty...whilst also showing their intellect and worldliness. They preach of a world of inclusivity and positivity, and I just wanted to share a little bit of their content and I hope people go and watch some of their videos.

I hope that some of you enjoy their content as much as I do...but even if you don’t, thank you for giving their content a try! Y’all are awesome! 😘😘

Spotted this mermaid yesterday while snorkeling lol🧜♀️🏝🤙🌺 #gopro#hawaii
As you can imagine, going from rather large natural breasts to no boobs at all would seem emotionally challenging. Honestly, for the first 6 months I was ok with it and rocking my flat chest. But recently I’ve been feeling more self conscious and also somewhat insecure. I started working out again in September and felt focused and growing strong. 💪🏾Then last month my fitness goals teetered off and I was eating a lot, followed by traveling and thus more eating. So now I am feeling the effects of my gluttonous (food/travel writer) ways. 😳Overall, I just want to be healthy and happy, but it’s also a lifestyle and it takes dedication and work. I am tying to have a positive outlook when so much has changed, but need to be patient also. What I think works best for me is when I schedule ‘me time’ in. Whether it’s a hike, gym session, swim, beach day... that’ll do the trick. The healthy habits will follow. 🙏🏼 (btw my double mastectomy was preventative, I removed my natural breasts so I could reduce my chances of breast cancer by 90+%) 💖
