At the end of the day this is what we should strike for: healthy living. There is nothing to do with calories or physical appearance. Yes, we want to fit in that jeans, of course! But when you change your relationship with food and the meaning of your nutrition, you realize that there is so much more than what’s on the table. Healthy mind + body gives us the sense of well-being. That’s the reason for my conscious eating and daily meditation. By eating well, I can run better, I have more energy to work, to play with my child, to nourish my cells that will boost my immunity system. Meditation has also helped me to go through the feelings and daily stresses that can impact my health. I’m still learning thought. I’ve done so much reading and research on how to make better choices and modify habits. There is a ton of information out there. The key is to get as much knowledge as we can and make changes that would be actually sustainable. Last post regarding #screentime . In this post i have mentioned a few activities u can do with your babies who are 10+ months old...
All u need is there toys and proper supervision...
The first activity is tunnel hunt which allows yout baby to go n search for things and satisfies their curious nature.
You can also build stacks of blocks and allow your baby to demolish it and slowly make him learn how to build stacks.
Book reading though should be introduced at a much earlier age but its not late whenever you introduce them to books. Always start with board books and make them learn how to handle books.
Balloons are one of the most fav things for children to play with.
Lastly place pillows as hurdles and make your baby crawl over them

Coconut mango & peanut butter #izzysovernightoats this morning🤪😇 added a mango coconut ball on top for some extra protein💃🏽
I used to hate overnight oats as it’s sticky texture just wasn’t for me and the portion was pretty small for me too even though I used the same (50g) amount of oats. Since I created this not usual layered ON oats I’m buzzing every morning to eat it😂😂 fills me up till lunch time and there are so many different flavour/topping options so I won’t get bored of having the same stuff each day. Also pretty handy (for me at least) as due to having my kiddo I barely have time to make fresh brekkie👋🏽 I usually prep my oats 2-3 days ahead which saves me so much time!
For this mango one I used:
🍑50g porridge oats
🍑200g 0%fat natural greek yoghurt 🍑35 g chopped mango , you can use frozen if you want to
🍑 @myprotein vanilla drops
🍑0cal natural sweetener 🍑1 mango coconut ball and more fresh mango and 5g @myprotein peanut butter (toppings)
Cook the oats in some water (sub to milk if you want but that ll change the macros) i used almost 300ml, add the sweetener and chopped mango to the mixture. Flavour the yoghurt with some vanilla drops, I used about 7 drops. Layer or mix as you like, chill overnight🤪

Peanutbutter banana chocolate muffins 🍌
It’s Friday!!! And the weekend always calls for baking so here’s a little recipe for those of you who are keen to bake this weekend 👩🍳
* 2 bananas, mashed
* 2 large eggs
* 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter (I used @ohmega_nutbutters )
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 1/3 cup oat flour (just take normal @junglesouthafrica and blend them to make a flour)
* 1/4 cup coconut sugar
* 1/3 cup cacao powder
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
* 2/4 cup almond milk (@almondbreezesa )
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a muffin tin with liners (or grease well)
2. In a large bowl, mix together banana, eggs, peanut butter and vanilla extract until creamy
4. Mix in the flour, coconut sugar, cacao powder,baking powder and 1/4 cup almond milk until smooth if it’s still to thick add the other 1/4 of milk
5. Fold in dark chocolate chips then add batter to muffin tin.
6. Drizzle more peanut butter on top of the muffins to get a swirl if desired then bake for about 15-20 minutes (or until fully cooked!) mine were in for 20mins And I probably could have taken them out a little sooner.

plain flour @vitalite dairy free spread
Sift the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and cinnamon into a bowl.
Separately whisk together oil and milk and then add to the bowl.
Make sure ingredients are thoroughly mixed and leave to stand for a couple of mins •
Fold in your chocolate chip cookies
Heat a non-stick pan over a medium heat and add your dairy free spread
Add pancake batter and wait for it to bubble on the top then turn over and cook until both sides are golden brown
Pile up and serve! I layered mine with @sweetfreedomuk choc pot😍

There isn’t an exact timeframe for moving on however there are signs that confirm you’re getting there.
I’ve noticed that the resentment that I once felt started to descend, I’m a lot more upbeat and I’m reverting back to my pre-relationship state (I’ve always said single suits me). Comment the signs you’ve noticed.

Vegan vanilla crepes with coconut sugar syrup
plain flour @naturesheartuk organic raw coconut sugar @alpro coconut almond milk @tescofood vegetable oil @maldonsalt sea salt flakes
trs vanilla flavouring essence @vitalite dairy free spread
Mix all your ingredients in a mixing bowl minus the dairy free spread and water
Heat your pan on a medium heat and add the dairy free spread
Add your smooth, thick paste and spread your mixture in a circular motion
Fry until golden brown on both sides
Stack on to your plate!
For your coconut syrup, dissolve sugar and water on high heat, allowing it to boil for a couple of minutes and stir
Lower the heat then add the dairy free spread, stirring again
Add vanilla essence and leave to boil for a small amount of time
Let it sit for a couple of mins then drown your crepes with the syrup

I mean, taking a step back I could easily tell you how much better I could do in every aspect of life- my diet could improve, my strict fitness routine would be helpful if it were still existent 🙃, I’d LOVE to be more productive & give you all more frequent/quality content with the remaining time when I’m not operating or sleeping. Tack on working long hours and planning a wedding in a #pandemic 😅
Truthfully, these are all simple choices & I hold myself accountable.

🍔😍 Tricolor Burgers bowl! 📷 by @veganbunnychef 🚨🚨Recipe: 1 15 oz can pinto beans, rinsed and dried;
1 large sweet onion, finely chopped and sautéed;
1 cup rolled oats, ground;
1 cup cooked brown rice;
1 small beet;
1/2 cup sweet peas;
Turmeric; . - coarsely blend bean, oats, rice, sautéed onions and divide into 3 portions;
- 🔴 Red Burger, finely grate the beet, mix with 1 portion of the bean mixture, season with paprika, cumin, salt and pepper to taste;
- 🟡 Orange Burger, finely grate the carrot, mix with bean mixture, season with cumin and turmeric, salt and pepper to taste;
- 🟢 Green Burger, coarsely ground sweet peas, mix with bean mixture, salt and pepper to taste;
- Preheat oven to 375;
- Cut sweet potato into fries and toss in a lined baking pan with olive oil, thyme, salt and pepper;
- In another lined baking pan, form burger patties with hands, you can make two burgers out of each color;
- Bake both burgers and fries for 25-30 minutes. - Enjoy!
