Caramel Snickers Breakfast Donuts 🍩
You guys know my logic: if a recipe contains coffee it’s instantly a breakfast food.
This one also contains WEETBIX 🥰 so it’s definitely an epic breakfast or morning tea option!
Packed full of fruit, protein, healthy fats and my beloved Caramel @beforeyouspeakcoffee - this is a truly a wholesome treat and probably my favourite recipe for my series (that I think I’m the only one excited about): #ifyouhaveaweetbix
You could also ice these with melted chocolate, but I loved the thick frosting I made using nut butter and yoghurt! So delicious. Enjoy 🥰☕️
Ingredients for the donuts:
▪️100g banana, mashed
▪️40g chocolate pea protein powder
▪️20g chocolate whey protein
▪️20g nut butter of choice
▪️3 weetbix, crushed ▪️70ml liquid egg whites or 1 egg
▪️2 sachets @beforeyouspeakcoffee caramel coffee
▪️1 tsp baking powder
Ingredients for the icing:
▪️40g natural peanut butter
▪️100g Greek yoghurt
1. Preheat oven to 180°C
2. For the donuts: Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl until combined into a batter.
3. Pour batter across a donut (or muffin) tin, and bake for 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool completely before icing.
4. For the frosting: mix nut butter and yoghurt until combined.
5. Dip and coat each donut in the frosting, and place on baking paper and in the fridge or freezer to set before serving.

This rich tea biscuit is 40 calories and this braeburn apple is 41 calories so in terms of calorie counting they are pretty much equal.
Essentially losing weight is as simple as being in a calorie deficit but how easy this is to achieve depends on the type of calories that you are consuming.
All natural whole foods will always have more nutritional benefits than processed foods and therefore the way your body uses that food as fuel is going to be better.
The biscuit actually contains less sugar than the apple but much higher saturated fat. The apple contains naturally occurring sugar, vitamins and much higher fibre so the body will digest it slower and take from it much more goodness meaning you will feel fuller for longer and less likely to reach for another snack.
Mango,Coconut and Turmeric Smoothies by @the_smallseed_
Makes Aprox 2 Ltrs
1 Ltr Coconut Milk
1/2 C @purecocobella coconut yogurt
2 -3 Frozen Mango cheeks
2 Frozen Bananas
1 Tbls melted Coconut oil
Aprox 3/4" Fresh Turmeric (peeled and finely grated)
Good Pinch Turmeric powder
Good sprinkle of ground Black pepper
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and combine till smooth and creamy!.

YOUR MENSTRUAL CYCLE IS A REFLECTION OF YOUR HEALTH!
It blows my mind that so many women go through life not knowing what the heck is happening within their body... and let me tell you...it’s INCREDIBLE. ♾
The menstrual cycle is not just about bleeding each month it is a beautiful ebb and flow of hormones that tells a story about your health from puberty until menopause. ♾
The female reproductive cycle is about 28 days long, just like the moon! It has 4 chapters that last about 7 days each.
Chapter 1: The first day of bleeding till it tapers off - your period.
During this time you have low oestrogen and progesterone, which means your intuition is strong, go with those gut feelings. Your body needs rest (especially days 1-3) honour your body and be gentle with yourself. Your exercise should be a gentle walk, yoga or meditation. You maybe craving junk food but you need lots of nourishment to prepare for the next 3 chapters.
Chapter 2: Follicular phase
You get a beautiful surge of oestrogen in preparation for the release of an egg into the fallopian tube. You’ll feel outgoing and extroverted, you can take on the world, play this energy to your advantage. Take on more high impact exercise & tackle some big jobs.
Chapter 3: Drum roll......Ovulation
The highlight of the cycle. The egg is released & this creates the corpus luteum which surges or fabulous progesterone. You are fertile for a couple of days. You should feel calm and relaxed once progesterone is present. If you don’t, make sure you’re ovulating.
Chapter 4: Luteal phase
How you feel during this time will largely depend on if you ovulated and if you maintained that delicious surge of progesterone. Listen to your body during this time. Any PMS, pain, anxiety, acne is your body reporting back to you that the symphony of hormones were out. ♾
Tag your mum, sisters, girlfriends, daughters in this post, because this basic knowledge is your power. When hormones are in sync, we sparkle.

Petit voyage en Turquie 🇹🇷 hier soir au menu avec cette pide inspirée du #delhaizemagazine 📖. J’ai cependant adapté la recette pour en faire une version végétarienne en remplaçant le haché d’agneau par du haché de seitan. Pleine de saveurs, voici la recette:
1) pour la pâte, mélanger 250g de farine complète (épeautre par exemple) avec 250ml de kefir, 2 càs d’huile d’olive et une pincée de sel; faire une boule avec la pâte obtenue et laisser reposer 30 minutes sous un linge
2) faire revenir 250g de seitan dans de l’huile d’olive et bien épicer avec du cumin, du paprika, de la coriandre, sel et poivre. Ajouter quelques cuillères de sauce tomate 🥫 et mélanger. Laisser revenir quelques minutes
3) étaler la pâte à la main avec un peu de farine et la travailler pour former une pizza allongée ; rabattre les bords pour pouvoir la farcir
4) farcir avec le haché ; ajouter des olives noires, un poivron vert et un poivron rouge pointu coupés en lamelles et quelques cuillères de yaourt turque
5) faire cuire 15 minutes dans un four préchauffé à 230 degrés. Décorer de persil émincé avant de passer à table 😋
Cette pide est intéressante au niveau nutritionnel. Le kéfir est un excellent probiotique qui va renforcer votre immunité. La farine complète d’épeautre est un bon prébiotique, important pour la santé de votre flore intestinale. L’huile d’olive et les olives ont un effet protecteur vis-à-vis du système cardio-vasculaire.

Rava dosa with tomato chutney and homemade white butter.
Lazy Sunday morning breakfast!! 😀
This instant dosa doesn’t require any fermentation and is very easy to make.
2 cups: Rava/ Semolina
1 cup : Rice flour
2 tbsp: Curd/ yogurt
1 Big :Onion -finely chopped
Few. : Cumin seeds (Jeera)
Few. : Coriander leaves -finely chopped
2-3. :Green chillies-finely chopped
As per taste: Salt
Oil- for greasing the pan.
. In a bowl mix all the above ingredients.
.Add water and mix well ( make sure there are no lumps)
.Add more water and adjust the batter consistency. It should be watery.
.Heat the pan/ tava .Mix the batter well and pour a ladle full of it on the pan.
.Add 1tsp oil and lower the flame.
.Once it turns golden in colour,flip the side and cook for another minute.
.Transfer it to the serving plate and serve it with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.😊
**For tomato chutney: Heat 1tsp oil in a kadhai , add few mustard seeds, few curry leaves and 1-2 dried red chillies. Add 2 chopped tomatoes, salt, a pinch of turmeric and a pinch of sugar. Turn off the flame and add 1/4 cup freshly grated coconut. Blend and add a tempering/tadka of mustard seeds, curry leaves and urad dal.

So I tried out the #KaleCrisps from @thegreensnackco a few days ago. I’m sure you guys remember my story about their price point. 👀 (₹200 for 30g 🤦🏻♀️)
However, these are really tasty! They’ve come out with 3 variants - Salt & Vinegar, Thai Chilli and this one right here Cheese and Onion. Apart from the Cheese and Onion crisps, the other two are vegan! 🥰
They’re gluten-free too in case any of y’all worried about that. If the price point wasn’t this ridiculous, I would definitely repurchase these. For now, I’m happy with their Multi-grain chips and Quinoa puffs! 🙌🏼

▪1 red onion – peeled and chopped into quarters ▪About 400gr of cherry tomatoes – cut into halves ▪1 red pepper – deseeded and cut into large pieces ▪1 garlic bulb ▪2 sprigs of fresh thyme ▪About 600ml (or more, depending on thick you like it) of veggie stock ▪A glug of olive oil ▪Salt & pepper to taste —
1. Add the onion, tomatoes and pepper to large baking tray. Nest in the garlic bulb (with the skin) and the sprigs if thyme. Drizzle with some oil and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes. .
2. In the meantime make the croutons. Add the oil to a pan and once hot toss in the croutons. Add in salt and the garlic powder and pan fry them for 10-15 minuets until they start to turn golden brown. Leave them onto one side.
3. Remove the tray from the oven and carefully remove the garlic bulb and thyme sprigs. Toss everything into a blender and with your hands squeeze out the garlic flesh from the bulb. Add in the veggie stock and blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper and serve with the croutons.

Green goddess grilled cheese 🧀 🌿

green goddess pesto + mozzarella cheese + fresh baby greens + avocado @thedelicious#summervibes
For each sandwich:
2 slices bread
2-3 tablespoons Pesto
½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2 tablespoons feta cheese, crumbled
handful fresh baby spinach
¼ avocado, sliced
salt and pepper
grapeseed oil, or other neutral oil for cooking
butter, if you’re so inclined
For each sandwich:
Spread about 1 tablespoon of Pesto onto each slice of bread. On one slice of bread, add ¼ cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese, baby spinach, sliced avocado, crumbled feta cheese, dashes of salt and pepper, the remaining ¼ cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese, then top it with second slice of bread. Press together gently. Heat 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil in a frying pan over medium low heat. If you want to use butter, add it to the oil and let it melt. Add the sandwich to the oil and cook until bread is golden brown, about three minutes. Press down on the sandwich lightly, then flip the sandwich over and cook until second side is golden brown, another three minutes. Remove Grilled Cheese Sandwich to plate, let cool, cut into halves, and serve. Hot sauce and little pickled things like onions, cherry peppers, or other hot peppers alongside the sandwich are great!
