People ask me, “How can you always be so happy😊?” Wanna know how?
I made a decision about 5 years ago to go on a personal journey in bettering myself and changing my life for the better. I started reading “Personal Development” books. I used to “laugh” at the idea of that, but it was simply because I didn’t understand what that meant. I thought that would make me appear weak. Boy did I have a lot to learn.
After my first book, “The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson”, I was hooked and craved more. Five years and about two dozen books 📚 later, I now start my day being grateful for all things in my life no matter what. I choose to see the glass half full, I choose kindness for you have no clue what people are really going through, I choose to smile at everyone, for that can change someone’s entire day, I choose to appreciate every single moment I have on this earth, for it can be taken from you JUST LIKE THAT. I choose to really listen to people and not just talk about myself. I focus on what I have, NOT what I don’t have. I focus on giving and not receiving. I choose a positive mindset every single day. I choose not to complain for it only attracts more of what you are complaining about. #truth ...
Today, I can honestly say that things are not perfect in my life, but I choose JOY and LOVE every single day. It has become WHO I AM and I am so grateful for my life and my journey so far. 🙏
Happiness starts with YOU. No matter what you have going on in your life. Choose to be happy first. Happy people attract more happiness. period. 💕...

I noticed a pile of un-dealt with paper work. Then a pile of clean laundry and an unmade bed.
I felt like I’d failed, knowing there wouldn’t be time for it today.
I tapped a little, practiced being present, I took my thoughts into captivity to determine where they were actually coming from and came back to myself real fast. I had used my tools to identify the truth.
This time, I didn’t fail. I made a CHOICE. I surrendered my chores and CHOOSE instead to see a friend in crisis. I CHOOSE to take as much time as we needed. And today I CHOOSE to tackle my tasks in small bits as I was able and was intentional to remind myself the whole time that this meant that I DIDN’T fail my friend. •
In my book, that would have been a failure worth sorting through. •
Can you relate? In the big choices and the small, it’s not always what we make it. Do we sometimes fail? Sure-but that’s for another post🙌🏼 #choices#healthychoices#efttapping#emotionalfreedomtechnique#failure#fail#help#helpingothers#createthelove#selfacceptance#acceptyourself#lifecoachforwomen#godisgood#choose#choosejoy#meditation#meditationspace#sanluisobispo
This morning I had so much to share with you, but I gad to run off to work and it never happened. You see my mind is always going with thoughts of how to help others and inspire others to be the best version of themselves. That what I strive for daily!
I’ve learned so much about myself in the past 5-6 years! I have learned to love myself and to grow and learn everyday. My coaching job taught me most of this! I’m not a salesperson, never was or will be. I just want to share this gift I’ve been given with others so they too can feel good about themselves too! ❤️❤️❤️ #gift#loveyourself#reflect#helpingothers#coachinglife#fitnessmom#bestversionofyou

Posted @withregram • @mimosaswithmoms There is so much beauty in this world. People lifting up others. Women coming together to support and encourage one another. A neighbor that waves a kind wave. People changing the lives of those in need. So much greatness is out there.
And yet, likewise there are those out there that make it their mission to tear others down. Those who lash out at others who have different opinions than them. Those who hurt another with their words/actions. Those who choose hate over kindness.
Today, tomorrow, this year, and next year let us choose to be the light. Let us choose to be the kindness. Let us reflect on the words we choose to speak. Is this kind? Let us walk away from those who do not align with our “agenda” rather than rip them apart. If that account does not serve you in a supportive manner please unfollow. If that group makes you anxious or triggered please leave. Please take care of you but not at the expense of kindness. We can do both. We can be both. Let us do better.

An act of kindness without knowing anyone is watching is one of the purest moments in human life. He didn't know I filmed this and I will probably be asked/little upset maybe "ROOBS WHY DID YOU SHARE THIS?!" When the lady passed me she smiled at me with a look that us women know too well and that is "what a kind man." My heart glowed in that moment.
Over the past 11 years I have witnessed my love @bodegajoes_dios show kindness and compassion to seniors and people who might be too short, pregnant, or unable to reach for something without even hesitating or looking for validation.
While we continue to ramp up Hopscotch Fitness and prepare for our Open day, a little weekend away to Hepburn Springs to keep ourselves from burnout as well as to celebrate some milestones we share.
These are the amazing views we are so lucky to be experiencing. It makes us appreciate what we have, what Australia, our home has to offer. In times like this, we are thinking of our fellow Australian experience hardship. We hope our Open Day contribution will bring a smile to some people no matter the size of that contribution.
A reminder we all need to slow down some times and appreciate what we have, to enjoy life. To also extend ourselves out to help others when we can.
So a big call out to our family, friends and community. Let's get together and make a different. Support us on our Open Day so we can support others!

I found these beautiful affirmation cards when I was helping Bridget organise her home office yesterday.🏠
Bridget created them as part of a collaboration that she did with her other business @suburbansandcastles. They really jumped out at me.
The exquisite colours and the powerful words. I have always loved affirmation cards.
Bridget was kind enough to gift them to me.
I love discovering hidden gems in my client’s homes.💎
Thank you @nourishingthemother
I have a few favorite artists I follow on instagram and one of my favorites is @broken_isnt_bad . Not only is her work beautiful but she advocates for mental health, healthy relationships and self love. If you’re interested, these two art pieces (scroll images>>)she created are available on her website and ALL proceeds from these prints will go to @wireswildliferescue . You can find the link in her bio.
I appreciate these pieces of art because they represent how interconnected humans, animals, and the environment really are. 💚👫🐨🦘🌴🌎🌍🌏💙 I have a special place in my heart for helping others who are in need. I hate that taking care of our planet has become a political issue. The truth is, we may live in different countries with different religions, cultures, and political beliefs BUT we all live here together on planet earth. This is it. It’s the only place we have to live. There is no backup plan, plan B or “planet B”, at least not anytime soon.
We share Earth with 8 BILLION other people as well as animals, plants, oceans and other type of wildlife. We never think something catastrophic like this could happen to us until it does. Just like you would want the world to send help to you, your family, your country, it’s environment and wildlife, is how Australia is feeling now. You may not live in Australia but you do live on earth 🌎 🙏🥰 If this particular art/artist isn’t for you, that’s ok!
Scroll through the images on this post to find reputable organizations that you can donate to directly. Love to Australia 💗

Hi everyone! Todays energy recommends that you start looking at your life in a different manner, and begin to notice one new thing that you are grateful for everyday. The practice of gratitude will allow you to open yourself up more to the positive gifts and blessings that the Universe and your guardian angels has for you. Also, will help you feel more compassionate and kind towards others. Why don’t you try writing down to your journal book, even a few lines only, what you are grateful for about yourself and your day, doing so will help you see how truly blessed you are. In addition, the Angel of Gratitude is thanking you for acknowledging their presence, and for making them a part of your life. ^.^
Wishing you all a charming day!

“A few years ago, our school won a fashion-show competition and I won 2000 Rupees as prize money! I remember sitting on the train planning how I was going to spend half of it and save the rest.
Just then, I saw a little boy crying in the corner -- we both looked at each other and then he came up to me and asked for water. I didn’t have any, but he looked so upset that I had to ask him what was wrong. He told me about how his mother and he were kicked out by the police for selling colouring books from their railway stall. They were now trying to sell these books on the train and he wasn’t having any luck.
By this time, a group of ladies had gathered around us. At that moment, my heart went out to this little boy and I didn’t think twice when I pulled out my prize money and handed it to him -- I told him to take it to his mama.
Before I knew it, a lady started passing around a bag and people were putting in 10 and 20 Rupee notes. The little boy and I sat in silence… Neither of us knew how to react. By the time the bag came to him, it was full! I can still picture his face at that moment -- his tears had dried and he looked shocked.
He ended up getting off at the same station as me -- so I took him to eat a vada pav with me and we just stood there in silence. When we finished eating -- he said he was going to rush to his mother and try to get their stall back. He had the biggest smile on his face when he said goodbye, and my heart went all warm and fuzzy… I finally knew why giving felt so damn good!”
