I have been told that this time of year is all about hibernation and going inward, shedding things & people that no longer serve us. I think that’s why it is one of my favorite seasons. I am addicted to the lightness I feel when I let go.
For the past three months I have been working through a strained situation with my mother. I have been trying for years to make myself accommodating, so that I could have the relationship with her I always hoped for. My sister and I have sacrificed our time and emotional well-being to try to make this happen (again), only to realize that we have once again been misused. Just like the seasons, it is time for me to re-establish my boundaries and shed what does not make me happy.
.I am not sharing this post to make you uncomfortable. I am sure many of you can relate to having a situation like this in your lives. Maybe you will be inspired by it? Maybe you will just feel like chatting. Either way, you are not alone.
Music is the source of imagination on so many of my images... this is pretty much how I feel when I use my @urbanistalife headphones, its like flying from this planet to a different one, where I give my imagination freedom 🎵🎶🐯🌔

When visiting Edinburgh I enjoy taking the Water of Leith walkway to Dean Village with its picturesque charm, especially on a sunny day in October.
In the center of the village you will find Well Court which was built in the 1880s and provided housing to workers from the water mills. Well Court has undergone major restorations in 2007 to bring it back to its original appearance.
Dean Village is easily accessible from the city centre and definitely worth the trip. It's such a quiet and peaceful place away from the crowds on Princes Street.
🚨TRAVEL ALERT 🚨 We recently had the pleasure of visiting Paris, France 🇫🇷 such a beautiful city with rich culture. Today we will highlight a couple of our stops! Part 1 of 2 🔥
Restaurant number one was called "Le Relais de la Tour". This was located just one block away from the Eiffel Tower. Here we stopped for a quick bite to eat. Had a burger (not pictured) that took a very long time to prepare, and was not good whatsoever (we’d stray away from that menu item). However, the snails were AMAZING. They were prepared appropriately with great flavor. They definitely took us by surprise! Would highly recommend trying this dish at some point if you’re ever in France.
The next picture was taken at a restaurant called Nomad's. This was one of the nicer places we visited. We had a starter of toasted bread, cheese and chutney (not pictured). Then a main course of duck! Our dish was similar to ravioli stuffed with minced duck meat. They both tasted pretty good, but the portion sizes were very small (and not worth the money). Atmosphere was nice though.
Overall, we’d recommend trying both restaurants! Both were reasonably priced with good service. Spice things up and try a dish you’ve never had before 😉

Another favorite from past travels. 🌿🌊
Such a magical place on the Washington coast.
This gem was recommended by a local in a small town cafe. •
With Reece working on the last few wiring and plumbing projects in the van and I finishing up curtains and upholstery I can feel the excitement and yearning to hit the road building in all three of us! •
Projects and plans hardly ever go as expected. Our naive selves thought we’d be done by summer (HA), now come winter we are so close and have learned to take on the challenges as they come, leaving expectations behind us. •
Washington has been on the top of our list before winter settles in and we head into and embrace the cold season before heading south. •
So here’s to hidden magical fairy lands and the last few projects on the van!
Liberty, a marvelous London gem, is a perfect crossover between art and fashion.
From its origins as a great supporter of the Arts & Crafts Movement in the 19th century to current collaborations with up and coming designers such as Richard Quinn, the department store keeps reinventing itself.
Visit today's stories and discover this British institution's secrets and beautiful designs.
We may have arrived in the ghost town that is Frome on a Sunday afternoon to no open shops or cafes, but we did get a perfectly instagrammable photo by a red post box and that, well, that seems like a successful day’s outing to me. TP poss didn’t feel quite the same way 😬 #doitforthegram#adventureswithagrumpyboyfriend
more stories of Cambridge ✨ // St Mary’s Street (not to be confused with St Mary’s Passage of Oxford)
the fact that there is a casually placed castle across the way (it’s Gonville & Caius College, former home of Stephen Hawking) is actually one of the more mediocre details of this little corner (at least, according to me). To the right, just out of frame, is the oldest bookshop in the *entire United Kingdom,* which has been selling books since 1581. To the left, King’s Parade and the Senate House, where degree ceremonies are held. Behind me, the photographer, Great St Mary’s Church - university officers must live within 20 miles of GSM, undergraduates within 3. And behind me diagonally to the right, the daily market, which among other things, is where you will find George’s cake stand and my favorite flower lady ❤️

"Haunted Raipur Rajbari"
I feel eerie if alone in a winter night as much as I love been to a dilapidated palace which is believed to be haunted.
The experiences in a haunted place which became funny...if u r going with friends. And then... became a memory, a lifetime experience and a story to tell.
I’ll be posting the new available work tonight after 5 to give people time to get home from work! Just some clocks but I know several people have their eyes out so they’re probably all going to sell today! If you want to get one while they’re available be sure to watch for when they go up! I’m planning for around 6!
On the 10.10 two minutes before 10, our sparkle of light was born and I couldn’t find a better image that represents all the joy you bring into our lives. You’re outgoing, friendly, brave and always adventurous. You love animals and want to cuddle them all even if mom fills your pockets with deer food and they seem to mistake you for some too 😄. You can run into things and carry on without shedding a tear but have the biggest meltdowns if the ketchup on your plate doesn’t have a perfectly round shape. Your first word nearly every morning is “ice cream“. You love it so much it seems to be always worth a try 😅. You’re a pancake sous-chef in the making, a great swimmer and a kind, sweet little spirit who it’s always fun to be around. You don’t lean on our shoulders when you fall sleep but hold our heads and caress our hair until your love overwhelms every cell of our bodies.
We love you to the moon and so much further and wish you a very magic third ride around the sun! 🔅 Love daddy & mommy xx
