Eng - Saint Oronzo square shows Santa Maria della grazia on the side visible in the pic, while in the opposite one it hides a stunning surprise...can you guess which one? In the meantime, in 1656 the square had been dedicated to Saint Oronzo as, according to clergy and the bishop Pappacoda, thanks to his intercession Lecce was safe from the terrible plague which hit the whole Naples Kingdom (there is also a statue, in the pic not visible). 400 years later, this time to fight the coronavirus, the current bishop of Lecce specifically composed a prayer invoking the Saint to repeat his intercession. We hope he succeeds again.
This time we would like to show you the beauty of Czech Republic.

📌WHERE: Amantea (CS)
ℹ️INFO: It is a tourist centre on Tyrrhenian Sea coast. Amantea's beach is long and wide, made up of gravel, stones and sand. The old town can be reached on foot from Via Vittorio Emanuele by climbing a flight of steps called the Gradinata di San Bernadino that passes Amantea's most interesting church, the fifteenth-century Chiesa Convento di San Bernardino (gothic architecture). Amantea is very conveniently located (close to Lamezia airport) and can be a starting point for a tour in Calabria. Between Amantea and picturesque Belmonte Calabro, to the north, are some offshore rocks called the Scogli di Isca which are surrounded by a WWF marine reserve. There's a visitor centre and boat trips can be arranged during the summer months (to be booked in advance).
