Happy anniversary. 3 years together. We just did a 2.5hour hike down the niagara gorge. .
Yesterday we were on a jet boat that took us through some class 5 rapids. Definitely want to do that agai and explore more of Niagara.

We got lucky and caught the sunset at the New River Gorge Bridge Overlook in West Virginia. It’s a short walk down a few flights of stairs from the visitor center and you’re offered this fabulous view of the bridge. Clocking in as the longest steel span in the Western Hemisphere and third highest in US, it was a pretty impressive sight to see. We visited during after hours, but we’re told the best way to view the bridge and river below is via a catwalk just underneath the roadway- just strap in and walk across (with a guide of course). Would you do it? #hoppinthemap#beernerdtravel

Would you solo travel or travel with someone?
Here are some advantages and disadvantages of traveling solo and with a group.
I will begin with solo travelling. Here is a pretty straight forward definition, solo travelling - when a person travels alone. Currently, there are a few reasons why people take a solo trip:
To find or enjoy themselves
- To recover from a general overcrowdedness to difficulties in life.
- To feel free
- To... because they can!
And no wonder, solo travelling offers a lot of new life experiences and more, and all of that is worth exploring and experiencing. So, shall we look in pros and cons of solo travelling? (of course, all these will be my own opinion, its ok to have your own)
Solo travelling provides a lot of flexibility when travelling. You do what you want to do when you want to do. You don't need to compromise with anyone or visit places that do not interest you. You don't have to starve yourself or rapidly try to find a place to eat in because your friend is hungry. You eat wherever, whatever, whenever. The need to wait for anyone is also out of the way. You can sleep in longer or wake up earlier. .
👍🏼 Personal growth and gaining new life skills
Apart from getting to know yourself more by staying with your thoughts, opinions and choices you also learn and develop your independence. You have only one person to rely on, who is you, so you learn how to take better care of your self. You learn how to trust your gut, you become more alert of your surroundings on your own rather than when you are with friends. That leads to understanding other humans better. You acknowledge behaviour better, as seeing details better. Super handy skill, I shall say.... ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️

The gorgeous scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park is your backdrop when hiking from the little village of Krimml, in the province of Salzburg, to Central Europe’s tallest waterfalls: the “Krimml Waterfalls.” From a height of 380 meters, the mountain waters of the Krimmler Ache, a glacial creek, plunge over three tiers to the valley below.
