The fall foliage in the Northeastern United States is looking amazing! Did you have a good look at it this year? 🍁

Despite having already hiked close to 1,000 feet at this point, I really loved seeing this in front of me. On the left you can see a group of hikers making their way to the top. It was crazy to experience such quick and dramatic temperature changes on this hike. ❄ Hike # 64 ▪️11/52 WAV
Hands down the calmest conditions I’ve ever had while trying to shoot the Milky Way over a lake. Definitely one of those days that went from “oh let’s shoot for just an hour” to “we should probably go to bed soon because sunrise is in a few hours.” But oh so worth it though! From @heyguystudios
I’m a sucker for waterfalls. Always have been, always will be.
One of the coolest memories I have as a kid was from a summer camp I went to in North Carolina and on one of the days we went “creeking”. For those who don’t have a clue as to what I’m talking about - creeking is walking out into a mountain stream and then hiking upstream. At that point in my life, I had never done anything like that before, but let me tell you, that is an event that I will never forget. We climbed up several small waterfalls and waded through long stretches of shallow stream to get to the base of a 45’ waterfall. Standing in the midst of the power that is volumes of water and noise dumping down all around you is a feeling you just have to experience for yourself. - [EP007 is now streaming] -

Every time I drive past the wind turbines on I-10, I can’t help but stare. Initially rejected by locals as ruining the mountain views in the Coachella Valley, these green energy machines have become iconic structures on the road to Palm Springs. Thousands of windmills dot the desert landscape, some of which stand hundreds of feet tall, and I could watch them spin for hours. If you’re interested in learning more, you can even take a tour on a private site and attend a lecture about their history, cost and design, among other things. I’m looking forward to spending more time in greater Palm Springs this winter, where the sun always shines and the snow only exists high above the valley floor. From @elisabethontheroad
I was dreaming about a photo like this since I’ve been to this place first time about 3 years ago - unfortunately conditions never allowed me to. This weekend I hiked there again and when we started in a thick cloud I was super frustrated. We reached the ridgeline and had roughly 2m visibility combined with an uncomfortable bone freezing wind.
But something made us wait for over 2h behind some small rocks giving us a little shelter. And it was worth it - I couldn’t believe my eyes when the clouds began to form like I always dreamed of. The moment last for around 20 min and I finally had the chance to get my shot. Here’s a frozen @tashi_ka wandering along the ridgeline 🤗 😁 From @daniel_ernst
Fall colors on the slopes above Kaštela. If you're ever looking for a reasonable hike near Split, start at the cemetery next to Svetište Gospe na Hladi and wind up to the planinarski dom just below the ridgeline. You're guaranteed a rib-sticking, home cooked meal and a killer view at the summit. The gulaš is a MUST.
