Not resin related, however I'd like to share with you my latest cremation. 🦛🦛🦛
This is a crocheted hippo, made with the African flower technique, the colors were chosen by my son; also, it is one of the biggest proyects I've made, 60cm from nose to tail!

In honor of Adopt a Senior Dog Month, we continue our #WagWorthy Seniors series with Grandpa's story ❤️ from @tarasfostersaz :
“Adopting Grandpa wasn’t a well thought out plan. He was on the euthanasia list at a local shelter & was rescued by @followyourheartfoundation Gramps showed up in my life right when I needed him most. At the time I was going through something devastating. I felt lost, abandoned, and confused by this turn of events in my life. Very randomly, I came across a single photo of Grandpa. I knew I wanted to adopt him. I told my husband and he simply said sure, why not ☺️ ~
Initially, I had no bond with him, and it seemed the same for him. I thought maybe I made a mistake but knew we could give him a good home for his last years, and my resident dogs seemed to like him. It wasn’t long before Grandpa started to become attached to me. I found myself laughing at his ridiculous flipper paws slapping on the tile floor. My anxieties and fears slipped away as I watched Grandpa blossom. I knew he needed me and I had a job to do. I couldn’t let him down. I was able to stop focusing on all of the negative things happening and refocus on this being who adored me. The way he looked at me was indescribable, and that feeling of adoration was absolutely mutual. Our relationship was a bond that can’t be broken. We got each other through the worst, and we loved each other at our best. We were only there because of each other, it’s hard to explain. It’s impossible to put into words how this senior changed my life, maybe even saved it... Thank you Grandpa!”
“Grandpa provided me with a multitude of life lessons in his two short years as part of our family. One - live in the damn moment. If you feel good then get up and do stuff, who knows if you’ll feel that good tomorrow. Two - Just do it, even if you’re pretty sure you can’t pull it off. You might still get to your end goal anyhow (if you can’t walk down the stairs, roll down em. Same result.) Grateful for Grandpa’s infinite wisdom. Grandpa. 13 years young. Adopted 12/24/16 and traveled to his beach in the sky 10/21/19” ~ Grandpa's mom @tarasfostersAZ ~
Moral: Next time you adopt, “Be Bold and Think Old”!
Look at his sweet, perfect and sensitive little ears 😭
And if you feel compelled to comment about his rotund physique, I’ll just feel sorry for you- because you’re obviously too miserable to realize perfection when you see it. *hair flip* 🦛
