What tips do y’all have that help you enjoy the busy holiday season? Last year I did our Christmas shopping in October and it was so much less stressful come December. But my husband did think I was crazy asking him about Christmas gifts before Halloween...😬😜

One of the biggest spending seasons of the year is almost upon us! 🎄And with that, a lot of extra financial stress 🙇🏼♀️ unless we plan for it. ✍🏼
Are you a planner 🙋🏼♀️or do you feel like you get surprised by an extra large credit card bill in January? 🙊
Here are some of my planning tips: .
🎄Start budgeting early. Like, now, early. Set your holiday spending allowance and keep that number fresh in your mind! .
🎄Put aside a set amount of money each paycheck for your holiday spending. When you do this, you won’t cringe (as much) when your credit card bill comes due because you planned for it and have the cash to pay it off! .
🎄Start gift shopping early. Certain things you can buy today and hide until Christmas. .
🎄Do not feel obligated to get someone a gift if they got you one! If they weren’t on your gift list, it’s okay to not reciprocate - remember some people just love giving and never expect to get anything in return. ☺️
If you have a good holiday budget rule you live by, drop it in the comments below. 👇🏼I’d love to hear them!

Priemonės, naudojamos dezinfekuoti vandenį baseinuose, turi didelį neigiamą poveikį dantims. Amerikiečių mokslininkai paskelbė tyrimo rezultatus, kur pagrindinis dėmesys buvo skiriamas profesionalių plaukikų dantų sveikatai. Išvada - net 40% plaukikų patyrė dantų emalio žalą. 🤭
Taigi, ką turėtumėte daryti, jei mėgstate vandens pramogas?
Stenkitės, kad baseino vanduo nepatektų į burną, o esant galimybei rekomenduojama maudytis gėlame vandenyje. 💧
#tiptuesday with Christmas and Hanukkah less than 100 days away I thought I’d share a tip I’ve shared before. Start stocking up on gift cards for stores you know you will shop at during the holidays. It’s a great way to save money during the holidays, be organized for the holidays and this will lessen your holiday stress. #tips#holidaytips#holiday2019#houstonconcierge#conciergehouston

Yesterday, I had a meltdown at the Universe.
After spending the last 12 months reading the self-help books and doing the deep inner work to heal the shitty beliefs and issues I’ve accumulated over the last 29 years, I felt like nothing has changed.
Here I am, 12 months later, still single; still living in Brisbane, in the same apartment, working in law, waking up, going to work, coming home, paying bills, going to bed and waking up and doing it all again.
I cried. I was mad. And I quit. But I still woke up the next morning and meditated, journaled, and read a chapter of my book. Because that’s what my life looks like now. Those are the habits I’ve cultivated.
Today, hormonal, sick and lying in bed watching a cheesy romance movie, I realised, that actually, everything has changed.
I’m happier than I’ve ever been. And it’s genuine happiness in my soul. I’m healthier, more energised, passionate and enthusiastic for life than I’ve ever felt. I found the courage to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. I’m less judgmental. I set boundaries. I say yes to the things that light me up and no to anything else (and the world hasn’t ended just because I’ve said no to something or someone). I’m working in a job that I actually love, for a boss who values and respects me and sees my worth. I have more self-worth than I ever imagined was possible. I’ve attracted the most kick ass, talented, inspiring group of new friends, who I adore. I rarely look for validation outside of myself because I feel whole. I spend each day doing something to become an even better version of myself. I’m growing, learning, evolving and now I even embrace the discomfort that comes with change because I know what’s on the other side is amazing. I’m proud of who I am & what I’ve achieved. I finally feel like I know exactly who I am; and I love everything about myself.
We’re so quick to measure progress based on external circumstances that we overlook the success of our internal changes. The ones that lead us to happiness, wholeness, self-love and worth. And those are the ones that matter. Because we can’t be happy and fulfilled with what’s on the outside, unless we feel that inside

Today’s holiday top tip 👉🏻
Take all swimwear and semi naked photos on the first morning of arrival to ensure abs are still slightly visible - highly effective protocol if on an all inclusive holiday 🤪
Takes an hour or two out of your day but ensures a couple of weeks worth of content for the gram 😉 .
🍴All families Gather here!
🌿Add a bit of nature’s beauty( greens, fruits, branches etc)
📌Nothing says fall more than using the nature around you to accent a tabletop. Grab your favorite vase and make your own centerpiece using dried branches, colorful leaves and spruces of evergreen. Complement your unique arrangement by placing green apples, pomegranates, pears and other winter fruit, adding subtle pops of color to your table setting.
🕯 Make it cozy!
Accessorizing| Add a candle with a warm fall/winter scent .
📌There are plenty of small and big ways to make your home feel more cozy. You can start by accessorizing your home with personal touches, candles, and blankets. If you want to go bigger, mix up the colors and patterns you use in each room. Using upholstered or plush furniture in a variety of textures can also make your home look and feel more cozy.
Add a throw blanket or ✌🏼
📌Throw blankets can give your living room a special flair and source of warmth on cold nights. Choose a blanket that is proportional to the sofa. If you have a large sectional, you’ll want a big blanket. Contrastingly, if you want to put a throw blanket on a loveseat or armchair, you should choose a smaller blanket. Draping your throw correctly can help keep your sofa organized, and you have several options based on your personal style and preference.
T U R K E Y 🇹🇷 Day 2
Let’s face it 10 days with 9 people
We was going to need a good amount of food and and drink and a good accommodation.
The accommodation was more then we accepted every one that was asking. we booked through Air bnb website.
So what we did on the first day in turkey was a big huge grocery shop and checked our or local amenities. This gave us a good start to the week not having to worry about constantly buy stuff. So we could more concrete on tourist activities.
We didn’t want to waste that day on just grocery shopping so we went out for the evening visiting the famous blue mosque 🕌 and finishing off with our first Turkish meal out.
Tip. We home cooked some meals from the Uk froze them and took them with us. 10 days is long time to keep eating out every single meal. At the same time I didn’t want spend huge amount of time cooking while on holiday. So this was a great idea we had one meal at home and one out. This was much more of a healthy and budget friendly option. #holidaytips#turkey2019#travelingwithkids#traverlingwithbigfamiliy#groupof9#groceryshopping#tipsandtricks#foodtips#istanbulturkey#kağıthane#food#budgeting#holidayshop

A yearly flu vaccine is the first and the most important step in protecting yourself, those around you, and others against the flu.
To help improve blood sugar levels from excess sweets or carbs, add 1 tsp.of ground cinnamon along with any form of exercise to help remove glucose & increase insulin sensitivity = important to optimize health. Great tip for the upcoming holidays! .
TRAINER'S TIP ON HOW TO STAY ON TRACK DURING HOLIDAYS @MONIKIJA⠀
⚠️Don’t treat your holiday as the ”last supper” of your life. Yes, this is the time to enjoy, relax and recharge but I see in a lot of my clients the tendency to over indulge and take things a bit to far ruining the progress of weeks.
⚠️Try to keep things balanced: if you had too much food on day 1 eat less on day 2. Think of it as a BUDGET - if you spend too much on one day you need to save and keep your spending low the following day.
⚠️You can introduce INTERMITTENT FASTING. This method comes very handy if you prefer having bigger meals. Let's say you plan to have a big dinner, skip the breakfast on that day or the following day.
⚠️When alcohol is a must for you during holidays reduce your carb intake and consume plenty of protein and vegetables to leave room for those liquid calories!
⚠️Stay ACTIVE! If you are one of those people who thinks that working out at the gym during your holidays is a punishment, try to find types of activities you can enjoy daily: walking, swimming, cycling, dancing!!! Anything that gets you to move and burns calorie is a big YES!!!
⚠️And last but not least, remember, everything is good in MODERATION! 💡

The great view out of the window of our holiday home. 😍
Udah mau akhir tahun. Siap siap bikin list tempat mana yang mau kamu kunjungi. Jangan pikirin kerjaan terus nanti stress hihi.
8. Cek kelengkapan dokumen dan have a great vacation. Selamat liburan happy deh 😊
The beauty of waterfalls water 💦 is that they are an adventure in itself just to find them. You have to hike, walk, cross rivers, lakes, streams...and when you find them you feel like you have found the treasure you’ve been looking for the past hours(minutes). The sound of the water falling grows louder as you get closer & that excites us to continue on our hike....it’s an adrenaline rush 😎
I used so much carrot oil on holiday and I feel like I just didn’t tan that much 😢 😢 I still need to share what I did and what I’d recommend. Think i might do a Q&A for everyone and save it onto my highlights???
Going on holiday with littles.... It's not easy! We're having a great time, but by no means a relaxing or easy time. A few tips so far for anyone going away ... Take an extension cable! This is a great tip I've picked up from insta. Makes it so much easier. Also this popping toy is amazing! Both my kids (3y and 10m) love this! I'll try and find a link and add it in the comments. A baby carrier when you have two is a god send. Thank you to my besties for suggesting this! We have a pram and carrier, having both options does make life easier. And finally, it's rained a few times since we arrived so I'm so glad I had a few zip lock bags of fun to whip out! Some slime, some tape and dinosaurs, just simple small things that I have been able to get out while we eat or when it's raining and I need to distract him! Also don't forget that simple play works wonders! Amelia loved just having some water on her high chair to splash. I also bought cheap stacking cups from Wilko that have been played with a lot! In the bath and out. #traveltips#holiday#familyholiday#holidaytips#kidsholidaytips#babytips#babyadvice#playideas#travellingwithkids#mumlife
September has arrived, but the desire for travels and discoveries has not changed!
Today we go to a lovely medieval village on the Euganean Hills: #Monselice . History is told through the remains of the fortifications of the Mastio Federiciano and the Cini Castle. Spirituality is perceived in these places, destination of pilgrims going to the Sette Chiesette Sanctuary and the Duomo Vecchio. You will be fascinated by the timeless elegance of the numerous villas, including Villa Nani Mocenigo, Villa Emo and Villa Pisani.
A delight not only for the eyes, because you can enjoy excellent typical dishes in one of the trattorias in the city centre!
PERGI untuk berlibur laksana sebuah mimpi untuk sebagian orang. KENAPA?
Coba lakukan beberapa hal berikut :
A boring picture I know... but something I highly recommend for holidays in the heat with our babies! This sunshade completely covers the stroller and is compatible with most stroller style pushchairs! Some people may not like it as it means baby can’t see out but for when there’s no escaping that sunlight this ensures baby is kept covered from all angles! It’s also fabric and very light so perfect for packing and so quick and easy to attach or take off!
Of course if we were walking in the opposite direction of the sun, or it was starting to go down or we were sat in the shade we’d lift it up so Alfie could see out but if your babies are anything like little Alfie.. a few minutes into a walk he’d usually be sound asleep anyway!
When a wave catches you off guard 🌊 Braving a non high waisted bikini for the first time in public since having the girls 🙈 I may not have the perfect body but my girls are beyond perfect & I love them so much. Being able to experience things like their first ever beach day, playing in the sand & everything else we’ve done on this holiday together is just everything. We are having so much fun, nothing else matters 👩👧👧 Dare I say.. I think I’m actually relaxed! 💗 For everyone messaging me for holiday tips sharing the same stresses & anxieties I had before we came here, I think the best advice I could give is just go with the flow, don’t expect too much & you may just be surprised! I definitely have been with how the girls have adapted & how much we are all enjoying ourselves! 💕 #holiday#holidaywithkids#twinlife
✈️ TRAVEL FOOD ✈️
💬Not my usual posting time, but today we are flying out and I wanted to share what food I’ve packed Zayne for our journey. Here’s the low down 👇
➡️We have booked an in flight child’s meal but as I can’t be certain that Zayne will eat it, I have packed my own food just in case.
➡️Our flight is for 4:30hrs which means I was able to pack plenty of fresh food without worrying too much about spoilage. If you are flying long haul be sure to include plenty of non perishable options to see you through.
➡️We plan to eat at a restaurant at the airport upon arrival, we have eaten here many times so I am confident they will have toddler friendly options. The food I have packed is for the flight only, and as always I have packed more than I think I will need for the flight.
✅Sunflower Butter Sandwich
✅No Bake Energy Ball
✅Peas & Sweetcorn (packed frozen)
✅Fresh Raspberries & Grapes
✅Carrot & Apple Muffins
✅Veggie Frittata (packed frozen)
✅Avocado (with a generous squeeze of lemon to prevent browning)
✅Beetroot Veggie Waffles
