Lessons from Bali #11 :
Partaking in a holy water purification ceremony was one of my favorite things I did in Bali. It was pretty incredible to be immersed in a culture that so strongly believes in karma and the various energetic forces of the earth as those are very aligned with my beliefs. The holy water purification ceremony is what one does to cleanse that which no longer serves them. You’re encouraged to talk to the water/ water god; tell it your woes and ask for help. The powerful energy of the flowing water then cleanses you as your rotate through each and every spout. And I’ll be damned if some pretty powerful emotions and energies didn’t start moving through my own body that I began to notice on my second of three rounds through the spouts. I was relieved to cleanse much emotional pain that has gathered for me over the course of the year and rid myself of negative energies. What would you release from within? 🕉. .

This necklace was made from rare Lourdes France Jubilee Centennial Bubble Rosaries (1858-1958). Each bead has a statue of the Virgin Mary or Jesus and once contained water from Lourdes’ grotto, but has now evaporated over time. It would be a beautiful addition to your collection. I upcycled into a necklace, earrings and bracelets so that it could be worn instead of being stored away. I made one for myself with the original crucifix, which is a statement piece. The crucifix necklace is available at $95, while other bubble rosary necklaces with pendant charms range from $30 to $50. Bracelets are available at $35, and earrings are available at $16. COLD FULL MOON 🌘🌔🌔🌕🌖🌗🌒
The last full moon of the decade will occur tonight, at 12:12 a.m. Eastern time on Dec. 12. It’s called the full “cold moon."
It made total sense to celebrate this dramatic lunar phase by resting & cleansing at this very holy place @royalpitamaha . Helping to wash away the past to make room for beauty and peace for this new bright decade to come.
Ready or not, here it comes. This full moon is marked by unexpected shifts, endings, and revelations. Regardless of what happens, the emotional tides tend to turn, often pointing you in a new direction
The unusual and causal landing of the full moon on 12/12 at 12:12 a.m. has many reverting to superstition or ritual. In Chinese astrology, there are 12 animals that each represent a year; 2019 is the year of the pig. Hindu mythology calls the sun by 12 different names. And in Western culture, the number 12 reportedly has significance based on Judeo-Christian tradition teachings of Jesus’ 12 apostles.
