If you are in the Walpole region make the effort to visit Mandalay Beach. It's easily accessible by all vehicles and also surrounded by some pretty good 4wd tracks to take you to even more secluded beaches
We set out to drive down the entire Oregon coast this weekend, but had to cut the trip short because of some alternator issues. Nonetheless, it was so, so good to be back to the coast after what’s felt like eternity
Called a Welder, he said he could do it the same day. So we picked up the metal and got the job done. We finished and installed it the next day on an empty Lowe's parking lot. All the metal needs now is a lick of paint...
We travel, we chill a lot, but sometimes we get real productive💪
Or if you are not an early bird, grab a glass of wine or a beer tonight and finish your weekend with us 🍻
We have just released our "6 months on the road" video on our YouTube channel where we answer some of your most asked questions!
We are not a wealthy couple, not a travel couple, we are just an ordinary couple with a passion for the outdoors and fitness who decided to cast aside the busy city life for a richer and more vibrant one on the road.
All our belongings fit in our Jeep, our home on wheels, and we value experiences more than possessions.
We are avid explorers and overlanders who are hunting for the best wild campsites and travelling the remote destinations of Australia.
Along our journey we hope we can inspire you to consider this rewarding lifestyle too 🏕
Thank you so much for following along 👍

Part of our hike today went to Jump Off. Funny name right? Took the Appalachian Trail to Boulevard Trail to Jump Off. From the gap, it’s solid uphill for 2m. Once there you are around 6000’; you hike along the ridge. Like you are in the spine of the mountains. The Jump Off is a 1000’ cliff on the eastern side of Mount Kephart. Along the way and at the top are breathtaking views of Mount Leconte and Mount Guyot. Over my shoulder is that 1000’ drop. Definitely a place to be VERY sure of your footing!!
Wishing we were living it up in NT like we were last year, way to cold in SA right now 🥶
This year sure has been a pretty crazy one. At the start of the year we had planned to be in Queensland by now 😳 although things haven’t gone to plan we honestly can’t wait to get back to exploring this beautiful country very soon 😍

The first time we moved in we had quite a shock at just how minimalist we weren’t. We thought we had culled and downsized as much as we could but there was just still far too much.
After a long break from our home while our diff was rebuilt, today was moving back in day, surprisingly we hadn’t accumulated more than we left with! .
We have come back more minimalistic after couch surfing for a month and realized just how little we need to be happy. The first time round letting go of things was so much harder, we were still emotionally attached, unsure if buslife was the right choice for us and holding back in some ways. This time there is no doubt and we have let go and taken the leap whole heartedly. We are now ruthless and ready to trim the fat.
Heading north tomorrow to chase the 🌞
It’s official, we live in a van! 😆 ...down by the river (iykyk). No but seriously, what a crazy day full of so many emotions. We spent the last 8 months designing and building this custom home on wheels for us and our two dogs and to have it all come together is incredibly euphoric and unreal. The outpouring of love and support from our friends, family and fellow vanlifers means the world to us 🤍
We’re still working on some minor tweaks and settling in to our new space, but we’ll reveal the final walk through of our build soon! #staytuned#vanlife

Another #thepaintcanproject off to a Veteran! @collin.adventures365 is not only a Marine Infantryman, Avid outdoorsman, but also a Painted Buffalo Board Member! We had plans to meet in San Fran but Plans changed but I can’t complain on where we got to meet up! MOAB! We’ve spent the last few days wondering the red earth, talking about our service, how we can get art and outdoors to more veterans and other initiatives we want to bring to light!
He’s off to big big things in Colorado and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
@emily_zb promised to hold him accountable and create a piece of work for the Paint Can Project!

Vanlife in the Netherlands, how do you do that? We have been living in our van in the Netherlands for 2 months now, it is not as easy as, for example, Spain or Portugal. In the beginning we spent a lot of time on the driveway of our family. Now we look for places in the Netherlands where we can spend the night for free, mostly are a maximum stay of 48 hours. So after 48 hours we move to the next spot! We still enjoy living in the van, even though we are no longer in such beautiful places. We love the freedom of our home on wheels! ✨❤️
