• BEFORE & AFTER • It's amazing the impact a fresh coat of paint can have •⠀
The original texture coat had started to disintegrate so we re-painted these walls with the @duluxaus Elastomeric system to provide a long lasting, low maintenance solution.

Quarantine day 19 (I think?): turns out the beard trimmer I bought the other day had enough oomph to tackle freshening up the side/undercut shave too. Who knows what the next step of social-distancing home makeover will be? Much credit goes to Jen for tidying up the tufts after my initial choppy first pass #quarantinecuts#homemakeover#covid2020

Day 17 of our Nesting Effect Challenge is to do a quick clean of your dryer!
1. Remove Lint From Dryer Screen.
2. To clean a dryer drum, dip a clean cloth in distilled white vinegar. Run the cloth around the inside of the dryer, including under the rubber gasket that seals the door.
The vinegar deodorizes the dryer's interior.
3. Leave the door of the machine open until the vinegar smell goes away.
What a kitchen makeover!! We opened the right wall, put in a new custom kitchen, new wood floors, windows, appliances, paint, lighting and much more!

In mid 2018 my wife an i took the challenge on purchasing a 2nd home. An doing a total remodel to the house. Through all the up’ an down emotions we got through it with the help of God. So here r some pictures of the kitchen an dinning area. We stripped the hole house down to the frame. An volted the ceilings. An added beams for structural reasons. I try during the week to post room by room changes. Hope u guys like the changes.

To keep our spirits up during these depressing and challenging times, connecting with one another is more important than ever. Tonight, 4/7 at 7PM ET we’ll be coming to you live with cocktails and conversation with our #flippingfriends@dinamariedotsikas
Join us. Grab a drink. Bring some questions or comments. Would love to hear what you are all going through, in real estate and life. 😷
Hope you’re staying healthy. See you in a few. ✌🏻
This spruce up commenced 5 weeks ago, our client is a working professional who has an eye for something which is out of the usual norms and yet demands practicality to the last detail.
We have worked around various set up proposals of her kitchen which is not the easiest to design as it’s an L-shaped kitchen.
Hacking down the central divider separating the once-laundry area gave us the additional space to build a full height kitchen cabinet and a functional centrepiece island
What was special and out of the box for the kitchen is the closed up cooking area with soft closing sliding doors which can be drawn after cooking.
An air-escape route was created so that the closed up section will remain “odor-free” after cooking.
An overhanging stainless steel dish rack and display shelving is also deployed for functionality purposes and also to block the structural beam visually.
We were also happy to re-orientate and sub-divide the master bedroom. A 16ft walk-in wardrobe with a make-up table and display cabinet was created from her previous 6ft half height cabinet.
The bedhead sleeping area was made cosy with a slightly masculine grey topped with white walls. Venetian blinds were also used block out any unwanted light.
We thank the owner for being patient with us during this refit and hope she will enjoy using her new kitchen just as much we enjoyed penning it. - Panaplast Japanese laminates - Rubine 245mm stainless steel sink and kitchen tap - Blum, blumotion hinges and drawer system - Quartz seamless worktop
Not much is going on around here but cleaning and cooking, organizing and creating. I figured I would take this month to share our home with you all! This is a forever changing corner of our house; the entrance! Finally though I am in love with it. This space really reaches my cozy potential!

So we were just informed that all Southern California schools will be continuing distant learning until June 4th (end of the school year). So it looks like I’ll be teaching from my computer for the next few months. At least I get to see this view 🧡
