For this weeks skoolie featured business it’s @you.me.andthe.skoolie business @amongthepines.co! Here’s a little about them:
We created Among The Pines because we love to hike, camp, and explore life! We want to share our passion for the great outdoors with everyone!
They just launched their clothing business, go check them out!! .
I’m running out of angles to show you of our less than 400sqft. home 😁 I guess that means we need to finish the bunk room and master bedroom so I have more spaces to show y’all 🤷🏻♀️
I’m having a hard time getting excited for the weekend since we can’t go anywhere — but cheers to sleeping in 💤 .
Got any crazy plans that hopefully involve staying home? 🏠❣️

Like EVERY woman, I have been catcalled, objectified, leered at, and so much more. It started when I was 13. I was a CHILD and men would whistle or yell while they drove past me as I was walking home from cheer practice. ⠀
In high school my friends and I would go to a teen-only dance club in San Francisco and we’d get groped as we headed to the dance floor. ⠀
In college I made risky choices but was one of the lucky ones that didn’t end up hurt. I only ended up with bad hangovers, not late nights talking to the police making a report that would not be pursued. ⠀
I’m bringing this up because for a long time now, I pick clothing that shows the least amount of my body as possible. I don’t want to open myself up to the risk of getting screamed at through an open window. ⠀
I am very comfortable in my skin and I am tired of letting others influence what I wear. Dudes, call out your friends when they make a comment to you under their breath or whistle at a woman across the street. I can’t argue back for fear of my safety so do your part. Show us that you care about our wellbeing and our humanity. ⠀
As for me, I’m gonna wear what I want and keep that pepper spray in my pocket.
Don’t stop dreaming. We know it can be hard to plan with so much uncertainty in the world, and we see so many people hurting right now.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And it’s ok to not be “good.” It’s ok to feel what you are feeling right now.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But please don’t be afraid to let yourself dream of a better tomorrow.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because we’ll be back out there again, dreaming & wandering & finding our next favorite campsites.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We know there will be more bad days ahead. So lean on your virtual neighbors, check in with friends when they cross your mind.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From the team here at #thevanlifeapp , we are here to support you. That’s why we wanted to open up another tool for you to connect with community, for free. Download, create a profile, and start chatting with a new friend today.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Are you ready to get away for the weekend while still enjoying the luxuries of home? The Kitchen Island and 50” LED TV puts the Cedar Creek Silverback 31IK in a league of its own. 🎉
2020 Forest River RV Cedar Creek Silverback 31IK .
Did you know most reclaimed wood is old-growth wood harvested at a time when the trees grew slowly? That means what you're left with after reclaiming is tight, dense grain that’s more durable and higher quality wood than your average. ⠀
It’s what we used in this 31’, 1969, Airstream Sovereign for a lovely couple in Los Gatos, CA.⠀
Surely a challenge to take on, but for all you #airstreamdreamers , it's a worthwhile challenge to your restored mobile space. Not to mention, beautiful, uniquely crafted, and oh so cozy for a cabin vibe interior! 🔥
We want to hear your favorite camping memories! Share them with us in the comments below.

Have you ever wondered about the story of how Tiny Haven got started? Listen to our new interview on the Tiny House Lifestyle Podcast with @EthanWaldman to find out! https://www.thetinyhouse.net/tiny-haven/
That dog goes everywhere with us. Thankfully Colorado is cooler so he can sit in the car when we use to run into store for thing(pre corona). Even with his seizures, he is the best damn dog we’ve ever owned.
After some months of storage and some time in the shop for repairs, this girl is READY for the road. But with all the closures we are finding it a challenge. Where are you guys going? Are you staying put?
I think what Landyn is trying to say here is "I can't wait to meet my little brother!" *I'm not in labor* 🤰
We are eager too 😍 there is a lot up in the air right now. Shelter in place has started where we are located and I'm so thankful. It will keep our family and vulnerable populations safer.
As we get closer to our baby's due date I am thinking about how I will share the experience of this time to our second son. I will share how anxious I felt, how we had to make adjustments and then share how my only job after he came into the world was to hold and care for him.
I will tell him there weren't as many distractions. He had his Moppy and Poppy next door. His big brother played in a small pool in front of the rv and ran around like an Olympic sprinter. His dad held him and loved on him tenderly everyday. We took walks by the lake. And for awhile our world slowed down (as slow as it could be with a newborn) 😂 There was tragedy, heartbreak and tears. But God saw us through.
The four of us have been practicing social distancing in the RV too, just to be safe.

Today I tested positive. What a whirlwind few weeks. I’ve been self quarantined in a room for the last 7 days with 7 more to go. My van is one of the smallest campers out there and not for a second did it ever feel claustrophobic.

Even though we spent about 4 days at the entrance of Todres gorge, we never saw it. We were so sick with food poisoning and then damaged our tyre, so we just left 😂 #wanderlust
This is the little sister gorge, Dades
What type of dog do you think Dewy is? This is a question I get almost daily. When I adopted him they said he was a “terrier mix” which is extremely vague. -
My guess is a Jack Russell something or other. I also think he could have some min pin, wiener dog, and maybe xolo. -
The game only has one rule: we don’t use the “c word” (chihuahua) -
Edit: my most common answers to the question are “little brown dog” “SPCA special” “purebred mutt”

Today we saw the sun for the first time in weeks and it was amazing.
When it’s nice out, Brian and I have started the routine of playing a game of cribbage after work. It’s a nice transition from the work day to our free time in the afternoon. This is definitely something I’m going to miss terribly when we go back to “normal”. What are some new fun habits or routines that you’ve started? Tell me! The people want to know!
The situation we’re all in is pretty tough, it’s easy to feel helpless and to get stuck in a negative mindset.
I understand that.
However, I’m here to say that the power of words can be pretty powerful. What and how you choose to express yourself can have a big impact on yourself and others around you.
When I was young I worked on my mindset regarding small things; for example if I dropped a pen, I worked on thinking something silly and neutral like “oops” instead of something negatively charged like “damn” or “how annoying” etc.
This has helped me a ton with keeping a positive mindset throughout the day, and I’m doing my best to implement it in my life now too.
Many of us are in some pretty stressful situations right now and it’s easy to fall into devilish little traps of expressing and acting stressful/negatively.
When I do, I make sure to talk to my friends and express how I’m feeling and why, we talk it through until all of our mindsets is focused on all the positives.
No matter how negative a situation is, there’s always some positives to focus on - and if you choose to do so, life will get a heck of a lot easier.

Bed made, ready for an adventure... one day soon, I hope✨🧡
What quarantine looks like for me. In between making posters, my guitar is my escape. I can play and let my mind wander to some wonderful places. All is right in the world when I play my tele. One day, I’ll share this part of me with you too. Keep on keepin on folks!

Two weeks ago when I was blissfully enjoying not having to worry about where I was going to shower. Ah! Look at those mountains! Thinking about starting a tiktok? Good idea or bad idea?
