Did you guys go through an EXTREME organzie and clean phase in your 2nd trimester or ANY time during your pregnancy?? Like for real I'm not sure if its the fact that we've been stuck in the house or if its just me being pregnant, but this next month will be TOTALLY dedicated to getting this ENTIRE house in order!! If you're in a "need to clean" mode too here's a great tip to help you not get overwhelmed to try to do it all in a day and focus more on working in zones.
1.) Write it all out on a peace of paper.
2.) Section by areas of the house
3.) Make your list of things you WANT, NEED, & HAVE to do to get everything in tip top shape.
4.)Then use that as a guideline to help you plan out the days in your planner that you're gonna get it done.
No matter how long it takes you this will be a GREAT way to help you have a your ideas in 1 single place to refer back to as needed. 😘
Guys it’s finally done! The laundry room that was suppose to take a week but then life got in the way. This was one of the most satisfying projects for me because it was in my home and everything came together like it was in my head. Since you have been home have you been doing any projects? #theneutralmethod

I've been wanting to offer this service for a while now. But in all honesty, with everything that's going on, I felt a little strange thinking about how to promote business things. I want this space to be a place of encouragement and inspiration, not a place that makes you feel bad about what you have or haven't been doing during this time at home. But I do know that so many of you are wanting to get organizing projects done during this time at home and I want to be there for you, even if I can't be there in person during this season.
So if you're feeling overwhelmed with everything and you're just trying to get through things day by day, I hear you. Know that YOU ARE ENOUGH.
But if you're feeling like you want to use this time get organized and just want an extra boost, I am here to help! I'm now offering a customized, personalized DIY plan for you and your organization goals. Check out the next photo for a little more info about what it is and what it includes.
As always, you can message, text, call, or email me for more information or inspiration! And if no one has told you yet today, you are amazing. Thank you so much for being here. You are enough. 💜

It's day 15 of quarantine... What have I been up to up?
Trying my best to be a teacher's assistant to virtual learning, cooking way more than I like, doing dishes... so many dishes. But, I've also spent lots of time just hanging out with the fam... playing games, movie nights, (☀️finally) playing outside!
I've completed some virtual organizing plans, which I've really enjoyed, because I miss my organizing sessions!
I've also used this time to update my website. Feel free to go check it out! Link in bio.
Comment below with what you've been up to!

Here's some #wardrobeinspiration to encourage you to declutter and organise your wardrobe if you haven't already. 😊
So I made my divider for the Sci-fi section of my collection and while I like it, I don't feel that it's quite as dynamic as the first one I did. The color pencils I have are garbage and the sharpener I have breaks them. Maybe I should wait until I have better tools to continue this project.
I have a saying: “Don’t let the past or possible future crowd out the present.” I’ve been reflecting on this idea even more in the past few weeks of uncertainty. It’s easy for us to imagine the worst, but harder to envision the new opportunities a challenge presents.
I founded Minima 10 years ago and never ever thought it would be so successful. I’ve grown the company from just myself into a team of 12 amazing women. We are usually booked solid a month out at a time. We’re all excited to get back to work when this passes.
I’ve shifted from viewing the situation as an unwanted aggravation into a new opportunity, a chance to slow down, take a step back, and make Minima better than ever.
We are still working with clients, but mostly virtually. DM me or shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in booking a virtual consultation with me. 🖤

✨I’ve been using my few spare moments during this time to get some house projects complete - this peg rail was one of them! Not sure if any of you remember my tiling adventure on Stories months ago, but this is the finisher on top to complete the wall. This took about an hour to make, and cost about $20. Score! I love wood working - it is so empowering. And I love creating things for my home instead of immediately jumping to buy them.
As challenging as it is to find the minutes while juggling work and parenting, it sure feels satisfying to create something from scratch that I will use and appreciate forever.
I filmed a little bit of the creation process and put them in my Stories today if you want to check it out.
Have a great weekend, friends!

Happy to report that the left side of my kitchen is completely organized! I need to tackle my spices and then this room is DONE. ✔️🙌🏻 I’ve organized most of my kitchen by just spending 15 minutes on it a day. Small wins add up! You can see inside all of these cupboards and drawers on the blog. Also sharing some favorite clothes that are on sale and in stories some favorites from my home! 💗 What are you up to today? I’m trying to decide if I have the energy to start organizing my garage. I don’t know. I feel tired just thinking about it. 😂 It’s beautiful and sunny today so a walk with my husband is calling my name first. 😎 Enjoy your day! ☀️ http://liketk.it/2M9aU #email@example.com

Has anyone else been using this time to reorganize their homes? 🙋🏻♀️ Part of me hates this lull that most of us have been experiencing, but on the other hand, it’s forced me to SLOW DOWN and take a breather.
Before this quarantine, I hadn’t had a day off in months. I’m now using this time to give my home the love that I give to my clients’ homes, allowing myself to feel the satisfaction and sense of peace that my clients feel 💗

I snapped this picture of my sister’s “miscellaneous objects” drawer.
It’s a good example of using containers to organize, but not over-organize, the drawer.
It’s clear that thought was given to what would be kept here. It’s intentional. Everyone in the family knows where to get their gum.
It’s also not perfect. Which is OKAY. This is not about perfection. It’s about moving forward in a better direction.
What action can you take this weekend to move forward? .
🌷Day 13- Tame Your Cords
You will be the family hero once this is accomplished! You might even find that portable DVD cord from 10 years ago that would come in very handy right now!
Tip: Use what you have ... elastic bands or twist ties will do just fine. No label maker - no problem! You can write or type out labels and use tape. Highly recommend doing this for phone charges with family members names on the cords! Organized, function able and mitigating arguments! 🌟

It's time for a weekend project!
We now have the time to organize the little places we always say we will get to; this week I've seen people organize the games cupboard, the junk drawer, closets.
Hold donations for now - create a small area where they can go until it is safe to donate or yard sale weather.
Make it a family event, throw on some good tunes and make things sparkle.
I've noticed that many people are busier than ever with home schooling, cooking, work, cleaning, etc. Others are finding themselves with more time than they can fill and are looking for ways to pass some time.
Regardless of where you fall on the continuum, Shared Planet Home Organizing is here for you!
These are my current books piled up on my must read list 😍☺️ Starting from the top there is my spark joy fave human @mariekondo 🌈🥰 Her Netflix series revolutionised my life, so I cannot wait to finally read the book 😍 Then there's the @scarcurtis pink book on feminism (if her mental-health themed book is anything to go by I know I'll love this also) 🥰 Then we have @jaynehardy_ 's book on self-care, which is an absolute must read (read this on Kindle already and it's perfect for lockdown) 🙌 And then we have @mrshinchhome's classics ☺️🌈 Mrs Hinch is my absolute FAVE. I cannot go a day without watching her brilliant stories, and she helped me find a whole new enthusiasm for cleaning (and naming your cloths 🤣🤣) I cannot wait to get started on these 🥰🥰🥰🍭 ooh, and the @northburnhf citron blonde perfume is DIVINE 🥰 #mrshinchhome#sparkjoy#selfcare365

New #Elfa door system from @thecontainerstore for our basement door. Very easy to install, available online and makes a big difference! .
These are really versatile and customizable. I have one in my hall closet as well, and will be adding one to the playroom and possibly the upstairs hall closet. I also added a @command hook for the aprons. .
Watch my stories to see the steps (and the before pic), assisted by my cute in house handyman 😜
First off, I hope you are all healthy & safe. 🤍 •
Second, since we have so much time to kill right now, I am going to be posting ideas of things to do at home. They will either be productive, fun, or creative! I’ll try to post at least one everyday, either on the feed or in my stories! I hope you enjoy & get some ideas! •
Day one: organize your jewelry! I separated mine by gold/silver, dainty/chunky, everyday/fancy and made them look pretty in their perspective places! •
Here’s some tips to keep your jewelry untangled: - cut plastic straws (that you have at home, don’t get more) and put the chain through the straw. It will keep it from getting tangled. - thrift a pretty dish and keep them separated on there - hang your jewelry from a cork board or wire board - using a key hook is also effective for necklaces - or you can get a good old fashion jewelry holder! •
What productive things are you doing today? 💛
Need a new closet system but can’t get out and about? Check out the @elfashelving system at @thecontainerstore. You can upload your dimensions, customize your closet and have them deliver it right to your door! Need help? Let me know!
I bet you never thought a kitchen cabinet full of dishes could make you feel something, right? But this one does. It made our client feel peaceful, and we feel really good about that ✌🏻
