Complete bathroom renovation!
The wall to the left of the original bathroom came down, and was replaced with another wall which we put further left to fit an airing cupboard in, and to also fit the bath in sideways!
The reason we did this, as you can see there wasn’t originally a toilet in the bathroom!
So we’ve created more space to have a fully functioning bathroom!
Will update when completed ☺️💕.
My favorite thing to do is come up with really unnecessarily, over-the-top projects to do for my children. Seriously, I designed this bed after I saw a million dollar beach house on an architectural Instagram page 😂🤣
Does my son need this bed? Nope. Will he freaking love it? I hope, but maybe he won’t care. Will he look back at pictures in 20 years and think, “wow, that’s a sweet bed I had when I was 2!” Probably not, but we are sure having a lot of fun building it for and WITH him!
We still have quite a bit left to do, but it is exciting to finally be able to see my vision come to life. Also, we have a process for getting it into his room...don’t worry 🤣
If you saw my stories this evening, you saw the intense trigonometry that my husband put in to figure out these angles for the roof lines. It’s a good thing I married a math wiz👌🏼 Have you used trigonometry since high school? I can still say...I have not 😂🤣
Day 22 #mydailyrenovation
TASK NEARLY FINISHED
Half and half a ‘reno’ related post and a fluffy interiors decoration post, mainly because the majority of our ‘reno’ related tasks aren’t anywhere near almost done at this point! We got the first few rooms so we could move in and aside from the odd bit of work done here and there, we’ve hit a bit of a stand still since then...
That being said, I’ve bought some pretty bits for our bedroom this weekend to make it feel more homely and I guess that means the bedroom is almost completely complete!
The next job closest to looking acceptable and liveable is probably the landing. It’s been temporarily painted in white, skirting & architraves put on and the doors varnished by Josh’s Dad this past week. Once the doors are hung we can shut away the back 2 bedrooms and forget about them for a little while longer. Doors being hung mean progress right? Or is it more a case of out of sight out of mind? 🙄 #beautifyingblenheim
A little PSL today because it finally cooled down after a hot and humid week last week and because tomorrow is the first day of fall! I'm so ready for fall season 🍂🎃 Also, we're finally painting our guest room! Goodbye yellow walls and purple trim! SKOL Vikings, but not on the walls. 💜💛 Speaking of paint, @sherwinwilliams

Good Morning Insta 👋🏼 Anyone agree the best nights sleep lies within fresh bedding?!! 💤Up and ready for the frame to be built in our living room today and I should not be this excited over a few lengths of 3x2 😂
Have the best Sunday everyone 😊🏠 #homeproject#insetfire#roomrefresh

(( swipe )) ➡️ It is wonderful to see how a change of painting can be such a pleasant surprise. 🙌🏻 I really loved the result of my cabinets. I never thought my kitchen looked so pretty. We had to clean and sand the cabinets what I can tell you is that we only spend $ 100 on paints and rollers and another $100 for the knobs and lots of work in to it !! But at the end is worth it, I love my cabinets 💕 now I have and instangram kitchen ☺️ I am going to shared a video on my YouTube Chanel soon ,
I could not take a picture of my kitchen with the doors before because my husband had already removed them.
My inspiration was @compartiendoglamour she shared step by step on what she did with her kitchen cabinets on her YouTube Chanel that’s how I got the idea 💡 muchas gracias Angie por compartir tus típs , ahora comparto mi experiencia 😊 . . . .
