How do you describe happiness? For me, I simply look at my horse and how well he’s coming along in his training. We have built a bond that I never thought we would have. He’s smart, athletic and best of all, he’s mine. I love him to the moon and back and he brings so much joy to my heart and life that I don’t think I could ever repay him. #horsesofinstagram#horses#phoenix#arabianhorse#hanoverianhorse#cross
Be that wild horse - that one with wild run, that one that never settle.
Run like a lunatic fringe - be the rolling stone that destroys everything that comes before it.
Don't get the moss, shine like that rolling stone.
Don't be anonymous, write your name with your hooves. Run with the air, destroy the winds, leave trees behind, cross rivers barefoot , seize mountains with your power and win the World.
All the DO THIS, DON’T DO THAT is BS and I’m sick of it. I bet you are too.
I consume a lot of social media, and one thing I’m so tired of is trainers and coaches that are constantly posting all the ❌’s and ✅’s telling you what you’re doing wrong.
Well here’s a few I have for all of you coaches out there!
❌ Stop pushing YOUR plan and agenda on them.
✅ Start paying attention to their lifestyle, likes, and dislikes, then build from there.
❌ Stop pretending you’re the end-all and be-all of coaches. We all have stuff to learn, and we always will. If you’re done learning, you should be done coaching.
✅ Go learn something new and be willing to ask for help when you’re over your head.
❌ Stop putting science before the person. You may have the macros nailed down, but until you know the PERSON consuming them, your job isn’t complete.
✅ Do they even WANT to count macros? Get to know your clients well enough to understand what will work within their lifestyle.
❌ Health and fitness is #1 .
✅ A person’s heart is number 1, health and fitness should help the PERSON flourish.
Lastly, just chill. You posts don’t need 12 different fonts and click bait captions every day. Let the people get to know YOU.
So here I am, not thinking about my next meal or workout, I’m just soaking up the sun next to Bob, loving life.
Stop taking yourself so seriously.
Second stage of the underpainting, working in the initial values without yet using the brightest highlights. One of the traps I used to fall into when early in my painting studies was rushing into details and highlights. For highlights to be bright, they've got to have something to contrast against. By starting out with the darkest tones then adding midtones, and not starting the bright highlights until towards the end, then you're giving the highlights exactly what they need to function: darkness to contrast against.
Don't mind the background, blocking starting with textures of color as part of the underpainting. I have a plan for it and this is just the first stage.
This painting is pretty large at 30x40". The horse's face is then length of my forearm from elbow to fingertips!
Sorry for the lapse in posts, life got a little complicated for a bit.
I just love the fit of his @lumiere_equestrian 'AZURE' bridle. Finns been wearing this bridle for over 12 months now and I cannot fault it. It fits him so well and he’s very comfortable wearing it.... I really want to add either the ‘AMIE’ or the 'AUDREY' to his wardrobe also as I just love a rolled leather bridle.
Now he just has to stop hurting himself so I can spend my money on pretty bridles and not on vet bills 💸💸💸 #finnfinnigans#horsesofinstagram#lumiereequestrian#pdsofficial#esstockholm

Qotd: Wanneer is jouw volgende wedstrijd?
Aotd: Zaterdag hebben Rebecca en ik ons B dressuur debuut 🤩 #RebeccaAthemare#soexciting#rustroest#grannymaredontcare
