4th of July sales are here and I’m sharing lots of deals on stories- including 20% off this rug and my chairs! These were a splurge but have the quality of a really incredibly made sofa! I honestly feel like they were worth every penny. Make sure you check out my stories throughout the weekend for more sale alerts! I’ll be sharing some coffee table options we are considering too! http://liketk.it/2RDEE #email@example.com
Rejecting our inner child is RISKY BUSINESS!! As a creative, it’s important to embrace our playfulness and childlike wonder. This means looking at the day with a fresh set of eyes, not being afraid to try something new, being imaginative, curious and something I love to do - daydream!! Loving this child’s bathroom. It was pitch black and I had to embrace my inner child to bring in the light. Xx #AlyssaRosenheck#TheNewSouthern@TheNewSouthern#Childlikewonder
Happy Friday friends! Lots of things happening around here. I can’t wait to share with y’all soon, hopefully 🙌🏻 Meanwhile, I hope y’all all have a fun + safe 4th of July weekend 💥

if we have to spend the fourth socially distanced this wouldn't be a bad place to be ✨⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This week felt like it was going to drag on 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳. It was a whole mixed bag of emotions for me. We got to spend time with family over the weekend, Brian + I celebrated our wedding anniversary, and my Uncle who had been in the hospital for nearly 5 months getting a bone marrow transplant finally got to go back home. Design projects are pressing on despite the state tightening restrictions again, and I worked with @theidentitecollective to finalize the last few parts of my brand new website, which is launching on MONDAY!! 🙌🏼
If all of that wasn't enough, it was all overshadowed by a bunch of fear and anxiety. I wasn't sure if I was going to say anything about this or not, but life is so much more than the happy moments and beautiful images that are shared on here. We don't always talk about them, but I think it's so important to be vulnerable, so here goes. This week I was waiting to hear back about results on a biopsy from a procedure I had done last week. I had multiple breakdowns, thinking that the growth that was found was going to be cancer, but also moments where I felt so calm and just knew that everything would be ok. Yesterday afternoon I got the email and broke down in tears... no malignancy found 🙏🏼
So relieved, and so thankful for close friends and family who lifted me up in prayers, and loved on me, while understanding that I needed some space to try and ignore reality as much as I could until I had actual answers. Thankful for a doctor who decided to have a test ran that I typically wouldn't need at my age, and even more thankful that it was caught before it developed further.
Looking forward to a simple weekend at home now that I can breathe again! 💛 Happy Friday!

I am constantly doing the plant shuffle around my house... love that this @ravenwooddesigns planter is on wheels!
It’s gonna be a hot one the next several days. Time to head to the pool. Also can you spot the dog toy in this photo? 🤦🏼♀️☀️🔥

This black bay didnt get nearly the love she should have during the Marisa project. This right here was exactly what I envisioned for this space. Come over to the Olivenhain highlight to see this house come to life.
Oh Mother Nature, thank-you!! From lilacs to peonies and now hydrangea. Is a kitchen really any happier than with a sink full of blooms? 🌿 I have had lots of questions about how to arrange my large bowl arrangements. Adding a tutorial in stories. Happy almost Friday!

Soapstone is such a great alternative to the expected marble. It has a deeper, more consistent coloring than granite paired with the soft veining of marble for an old-world feel that is relatively low-maintenance.
