I haven’t cut my hair for quite some time now, partly due to the Covid situation and my recent health issues. My hair is about waist length and I have been saving strands that have fallen off naturally for an embroidery art project. Here’s a mockup of the embroidery piece I’ll continue to work on when I feel better. It’s basically a self portrait, made with my own hair. Hair is symbolic to me because it is reflective of the environment you had been living in; if you had been stressed or sick; if you had been eating well; etc. There are many stories to be told with hair. It’s a biological diary with time specific embedded messages.
I’ll be happy to work with a variety of hair, so fellow oddballs feel free to send me some hairballs 👉🏻🕸👈🏻

🌱For everyone there is a daily amount of actions that must be taken care of, when you wake up it's running through your mind already. Huh! Pfffff! .
It seems like alot, a mountain to climb everyday and can cause immediate anxiety in the morning...
🌱How can you make this feel better?
🌱Thinking as all doing actions in the day lumped together in one thought before you've even got up, IS overwhelming. You wouldn't do it like that would you? You know you can't do it all at the same time, but a thought of it all at once like that, can cause you to feel overwhelmed = anxiety.
IT'S like organising a cupboard that's overflowing, when you attempt to get one thing out they all fall out until you dred going to get a pan out. "I'd sooner microwave & eat out of the container".
DECLUTTER your mind
🌱Try Making a list the night before or try a little bullet journal. Try to make the list reasonable, not overloaded, enought time to enjoy it too.
*bullet journal (you don't have to worry about drawing & colouring, that's not the point & we end up thinking 'I need to learn calligraphy before I can have this, focus on getting organised & feeling organised first, then when you have time after go for it! )
🌱Turn those thoughts around, I have tried this for months & it's great! When I'm feeling ugghhh! I've got to do this thing but I just don't feel motivated. I turn it around & say 'Hey you're lucky you get to do this' & I'm motivated I suddenly find enjoyment in it. It's truely about how you view your world.
