For the first time I made my own pitta and hummus from scratch. During drama school, I pretty much survived on supermarket hummus and pitta so it was so satisfying taking the time to knead the dough and soak the chickpeas. Honestly, the taste between homemade and store bought is night and day.

Homemade Garlic & Peri Peri Hummus.
❇️ 1 Cup Chickpea (chole) (raw)

Boiled the chickpeas , if possible take out the skin of chickpeas after they are completely boiled for smoother hummus.
Blend all really well together in a mixer.
Pour it in a bowl , spread a spoon of olive oil and sprinkle some chilli flakes.
How amazing does this Lebanese Style Hummus look? We recently worked with @georgieeats for our Eat Your Week Orange campaign and she developed this recipe. Creamy, silky smooth turmeric spiked hummus topped with tender cubes of roasted aubergine mixed with fragrant fresh mint & coriander, a sprinkle of crispy chickpeas and sweet jewels of pomegranate. Its hummus like you’ve never seen it before. Head over to georgieeats.co.uk for the recipe.
Did you know our Active Curcumin supplement is equivalent to 6 tsps. Of Turmeric giving you a decent dose of everyone’s favourite superfood?
Different types of bread from the @baitlehembakery . I have been ordering from them since the last 2 months for pita bread and hummus but have never tried their multigrain bread and sourdough ciabatta and they are REALLY GOOD!! 😍😍
It is also their 8th year anniversary and they are giving away free Mini Danish for every purchase. So, make sure to buy some for yourself!
Lunch at @allobeirutstreetfood this is the stuffed chicken 🍗 from their daily dish menu available from 12pm -4 pm 🤤 the taste sends you straight home 🏡💕 of course this dish needs a Fattoush and a lentil soup beside it 😋😋 with Hummus as an appetizer 🤤

On bread with cream cheese and avocado🤤Definitely making some for next time I host friends at home.Whenever that is😂😂
I used a local olive oil from @ubuntu_evoo and it helped with the beautiful flavor outcome.
Can of chickpeas rinsed and drained
1 beetroot cooked
1 TSP of Tahini
juice of a half a lemon
3 TSP of olive oil
1 tsp of cumin
Pour all the ingredients in a food processor.I added in 2 TSP of olive oil in the beginning. Then blend thoroughly until it's a paste.Taste then add salt or lemon juice if there is any balancing of taste needed.I added another 1TSP of olive oil to make the consistency not too thick.
You can bottle it and put in the fridge.Serve it with vegetables for dinner as well😉yumminess
Wanna know the secret to super creamy hummus at home? Cook the chickpeas until they're super soft. I like to simmer canned chickpeas for 20-30 minutes which makes them super easy to blend. If you don't have time to simmer them, heat them in the microwave for a few minutes!
This trick has transformed my homemade hummus game. And that means I've been making hummus all. the. time. This week? It was Everything Bagel Hummus!
Once you get the hang of the silky smooth hummus base, you can customize it with your favorite seasonings and toppings! I have tons of ideas, tips, & tricks on the blog, including a recipe to make your own Everything Bagel Seasoning! Just tap the link in my profile --> @iheartveggies

Remember when we went to parties and ate hummus and pita chips? Lol sorry don’t remember. Currently snacking on this edamame dip with a very large carrot wielded in my hand like a spoon. Happy weekend! Recipe below
Creamy Edamame Dip
2 cups (360g) shelled cooked edamame, thawed if frozen
3 tbsp water, plus more as necessary
1/3 cup good quality, runny tahini
3 tbsp olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic
1/4 cup fresh lime or lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground smoked paprika
1 small handful fresh cilantro
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
olive oil, sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, a drizzle of chili oil (optional, for garnish)
Place edamame, water, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lime juice, and spices in a high-speed blender in the order listed and blend until smooth, adding water as necessary, slowly increasing the speed to high, about 1-2 minutes. Test consistency and season to taste with salt. Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, sesame seeds or chili oil, and serve. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Sourdough Toast with Hummus, Heirloom Tomatoes, and Fresh Basil! 🍃
2 cups of canned, but rinsed chickpeas
1/3 cup of good quality Tahini
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Juice of 1 large lemon 🍋
1/4 teaspoon of sea salt or more to taste
1/2 teaspoon of cumin
2-3 cloves of garlic
You’ll need a high-speed blender or food processor. First, add the tahini paste and lemon juice and process for ~1 min. It will turn lighter and thicker. Then, add the garlic cloves (always use fresh) olive oil, sea salt, cumin and 1 cup of chickpeas. Blitz for 30 seconds and then incorporate the second cup of chickpeas. Blend until completely smooth. Tip: Slowly add 1 tablespoon of icy water for an even creamier hummus. This last step is completely optional. I like to make a dent in the hummus (once it’s on a plate or bowl) and drizzle olive oil into it. You an also sprinkle sumac or smoked paprika on top for presentation 💁🏻♀️✨
The crusty sourdough was toasted twice and brushed with extra virgin olive oil. Then came the hummus, the heirloom tomatoes, a sprinkle of sumac and flaky sea salt; and one final drizzle of olive oil for the win!⚡

Kuru domatesli mercimek humusu denemek isteyenleri buraya alalım. 🍅
Humusun her halini çok seviyorum ve buna da bayıldım. 🤤
Siz de denemek isterseniz;
• 400 gr kırmızı mercimek
• 90 gr kuru domates
Ve kuru domatesli mercimek humusumuz hazır. 🧡 Denerseniz beni etiketlemeyi unutmayın. 🌾
