The simple, yet most difficult key to success in our life together as a married couple.
We learned something important in our marriage other than communication is consistency. It does not mean we should be fully dedicated to ourselves but to help and push each other when it comes to completing our tasks, activities and/or goals together. We are each other’s best friend, and we are rooting for each other. It is a lifelong commitment and it requires an effort to keep our marriage happy, healthy, and sustainable.
I am not going to lie to you and say it’s easy because it’s not. But let me tell you – consistency is what pulls us through all aspects of life. It allows us to hold each other accountable with good choices we make daily to ensure we’re able to meet our goals. The more consistent we become, the more obstacles we are able to break through. We both know that we are accountable for what we do and what we fail to do. All of these responsibilities are in our hands, and we do not place blame on each other because we’re all in together. We don’t point fingers at each other for our failures.
Success through marriage doesn’t miraculously happen overnight, it takes communication, hard work, sacrifices and consistency. Consistency requires them to focus on actions that brings them closer to their long-term goals and ensure that they are able to measure progress that impacts their actions. Marriage is a team of two, not one because we’re human beings. Marriage should be carried with love and grace.
Don’t forget to spice up life with your loved one by trying new things: foods, sports, activities, travel and setting new goals to achieve together. It doesn’t even require money being spent but it doesn’t give you an excuse not to get creative. Do not let your love become stagnant. You will not regret once when it comes to investing your time, effort and consistency in your marriage – I promise. #ledbetter#honoryourmarriage

Ricky’s team one 40-0 today!!! That was so exciting watching him come into his own.. I’m a proud father, but can I be honest? What made me the most proud today was listening to my wife have a conversation to another mom about him and hearing her talk about Ricky being saved and the struggles of being a momma to a saved 7 year old (the boy has no fear of dying and it’s becoming dangerous 😂). I have a wife who teaches our children about the Lord. 😍
Kids that don’t know anything about daddy but that he loves God! 🙏
A family that serves the Lord and loves to hear me preach (I don’t know why lol)🙋🏽♂️ And all of this I have because someone showed up with the gospel!
I’m thankful that someone came to my family when no one else would have wanted us and told us about Jesus... I’m glad my in laws were told about Jesus... what a life changing event for the sinner to be shown the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ!
You never know who will be changed if you give the gospel friend!
Long wine fueled post ahead.... I’m about to take my first international trip to Italy in 2 days and I owe it all to this sexy man right here. Sure, I’m successful and independent in my own right- I started as a teenage single mother on food stamps but worked my ass off to further my education and career with the hardest work ethic there was... but this man- when I met him he was a college frat boy living off his parents dime working in retail like me but he was working for beer money. 😂. We somehow fell in love, (opposites make the best soulmates) welcomed a little blondie and this man worked harder than anyone I’ve known. 3rd shift with a newborn and new wife, 70+ hours a week on an assembly floor. He dug in deep and climbed his way up, learning everything he could and doing anything he could to support his family. He travels soooooo much and he loves it yes, but he does it to support and spoil us. I finally get to see another slice of this world with him, something he’s wanted to do for me for a long time, “you can travel the world and see all the amazing things but what does it matter unless you have someone to experience it with” he says ❤️ He’s on his way home from Japan so he won’t see this until tomorrow and he’ll probably be rolling his eyes in embarrassment but... baby you mean the world to me and our kids and I thank you for being our everything 😘 .
After working open - close & possibly having one of the worst days in a while, I came home to this sweet little surprise from my husband.
Today we celebrate 4 years of marriage together. Through lots of up & downs, we have still manage to come out on top. We have built a life together with the two most precious girls we could ever ask for.
So cheers to you babe. Thanks for being a great husband and a kickass dad. Happy anniversary, we love you!
Tonight my friends, is the night that you become more than your capable. We have alot to be thankful for and alot to regret for as well, but that does not define who you are as a person. Yes, we all have great days, and we have shitty days. When we really honestly sit down with ourselves and have a deep heart to heart with our inner selves, we can find peace and redemption. Not for yesterday, but for tomorrow. So to all my followers and family, keep fighting, keep getting up, keep encouraging. To my wife @ka_zuu_mai I will be here until God Almighty calls me home. In the mean time, let's make this life beautiful. #encouragement#zen#positivevibes#fitness#health#overcome#wellness#positive#husband
*Fun fact* My hubby Kevin and I met on St Patrick’s day almost 7 years ago; most of our friends & even some of our family members were there that night! I went up to him and told him he was a good dancer and ran off giggling like a grade schooler... He later finally asked me to dance and the rest was history! We got married on October 5th 2017 in Gilbert Az & it was such a fun freaking wedding! 💍 #weddingday#lover#soulmate#wifey 💋
