Floral arrangements are an easy and cheap way to freshen up and decorate your home. I get all of my flowers from @traderjoes and arrange them myself. Here’s a breakdown of these arrangements:
•20 Stem Tulips with Bear Grass: $9.99
•Mini Carnation Bunch: $3.99
•Chrysanthemums Big Bunch: $3.99
•Eucalyptus Bunch: $3.99
•3 Stem Hydrangea Bunch: $5.99 (repurposed from last week’s arrangement)
Total: $27.95 (plus sales tax)
The key to lasting fresh cut flowers is how you care for them. Start with a clean vase and fill it with fresh, lukewarm water and the provided flower food. Remove your flowers from the plastic packaging and cut the bottom of the stems at an angle. To start arranging, start with your greenery or filler stems and then add your flowers. Tip: cut my flowers at various lengths to add height and depth to the arrangement. Refresh the water and trim the stems every few days for longer lasting flowers. Happy arranging!
This plant is amazing! The first time I saw it, I noticed that the hydrangea flowers were so perfectly formed and quite stiff. I had to reach out and (gently)touch it to see if it was plastic. It’s not plastic and it’s perfectly gorgeous.
Looking for some curb appeal? Hydrangeas add big drama to your summer garden and are incredibly welcoming. They're also a great cut flower that can bring some joy into your home. Take a look at this article on Better Homes and Gardens to see which type of Hydrangea might suit your needs! #flowers#hydrangeas#bhg#curbappeal https://rfr.bz/ihr4db
Hydrangeas ~ I love the way the colour changes from palest pink to vivid blues according to the pH of the soil, there’s few places better to spend a sunny Sunday in July than a garden full of blooms, bees & maybe a hammock
I am curious...what are your favorite keepsakes that you have collected from places you have gone? Do you like to bring back something useful for everyday or something to display in your home? I’m a sucker for all of it and usually end up with more than I can pack to get back home. Here are some of my favorites from years past...the kitchen towel and ice bucket from @maizieclarke are useful and fun reminders of Nantucket. And- that cake stand is what @parkerkennedyliving took back from their trip to Nantucket. Are you more t-shirt/clothes or home/design? I would love to hear your favorite treasures 💕🤩🤗💕 #nantucket#ack#nantucketisland#mypartystyle#hydrangeas#hydrangeaseason#hydrangealove
