Via dai mezzucci e dalle manipolazioni.
Happy Friday Everyone! Any nice plans for the weekend?
Today I wanted to post a colourful photo as I have been posting photos that are quite subdued and on the colder/blueish tones lately, and I thought of this Sunset in Alghero in Sardinia.
Don’t you love when you get to experience one of those sunsets that seem to be out of this world and everything turns golden and beautiful? this is exactly what happened on this day of my trip to Sardinia.
To put this photo in to context, I was having a really bad day, I was travelling with a friend and that day the friendship was broken forever, I’m not going to go into what happened as there is always two sides of the story, but the point is that I found myself in the beginning of a holiday that I was expecting to go one way and it turned a different way very quickly.
In order to clear up my mind I turned into what enjoyed the most which is taking photos and I was in such a beautiful place that I didn’t want the bad feelings that were going on in my head to spoil them, I was determined to enjoy #Sardinia very much, not only because it is indeed beautiful but because a good friend of mine is from there. So I don’t know if it was the universe reacting to me doing my best to turn a bad situation into a good one, but I was gifted with this gorgeous #Sunset where the sun was on fire and surrounded by these cotton candy clouds (That sentence just made me crave cotton candy!).
Although this has happened several times in my life, that was probably one of the first times that I realised that we do have the power to turn bad situations into good ones, what changed in that situation was not the weather or what happened with my friend, but my perspective and ability to look at things from a brighter and more joyful point of view.
