Ben sana küsüm aslında,haberin yok.
Koyup gittiğin yerde kötülük çok.
Kime kızayım,nazım senden başka kime geçer?
Benim sensiz kolum,bacağım,ocağım yok.
Annem acı hafiflemiyor, zamanla da geçmiyor sadece alışılıyormuş.İnsanoğlu işte herşeye alışıyor.Nurlar içinde uyu 🙏
Woke up pretty early today but I stayed in bed and kept flitting in and out of sleep. One moment it was all gray and cloudy outside, then the next it was all white. I jumped out of bed, opened the hotel window and discovered it was snowing. Big, fat flurries fell from the sky and I held out my hand and they melted with my body heat in an instant. Had I followed through my original schedule, I would have found myself in Gyeongbokgung while it snowed, but alas, as life would have it, I’m sticking out my hand and my head in what little space my hotel window allowed. By the time I went down 20 minutes later, all I could do was walk along the snow covered streets and watch it slowly melt away.
The thing about snow in Seoul is it barely sticks, so a snowing moment like this is few and far between. There will be an occasional snow shower like this morning, maybe a rare heavy snow fall if you’re lucky, then it’s gone. There’s bound to be one big snow day, which hasn’t happened this winter yet, then that’s that. You’ll have to head north, to Gangwon, to really experience winter and snow, but it hasn’t really snowed up there that much this season.
Anywayyy... I am rambling over my convenience store breakfast while replaying this morning in my head. I apologize for the really awful camera handling but I kept sticking my upper body out to “experience” the snow fall. 🌨

Today I went to the “other” hanok village in Seoul, the Eunpyeong Hanok Village. I’m not sure why it took so long for me to make my way there, but it was well worth the trip. From what I can tell, it’s still being built up and being expanded, but there is already a nice community here and situated near the mountains was a beautiful setting. I imagine it will look even better in a few months when there is more greenery, but a good excuse to head back!
