I need suggestions for how to better capture a full moon using a dslr. I plan on setting up a tripod to take shots from my open skylight like this. This is the brilliant full moon of 11/13 but I can barely make it out in this photo, even though it was brilliant as seen from my eye- thoughts?
Martha’s Vineyard Sea Salt is the Vineyard’s first operating salt works in nearly 200 years! Before the invention of modern-day refrigeration, salt was essential to life on Martha’s Vineyard — and throughout the colonies. Salt preserved food, made it more palatable, and was used to tan hides and pack fish for trading — all important to the Vineyard’s economy. According to the “Dukes County Intelligencer,” the first known salt works on the Vineyard was up and running by 1778. By 1807, salt manufacturing was the island’s second largest industry.
It was juicy and flavorful inside (but was missing some crispness in the outside)
The place was small and cozy, perfect for a cheat meal day accompanied by a couple of drinks
Que buen pollo frito me comí anoche. Por dentro estaba muy jugoso aunque me hubiera gustado que estuviera más crujiente por fuera. Pero a pesar de esto, el sabor estaba increíble y como dije, la textura estaba perfecta por dentro
My camera club had a field trip yesterday to Wingmasters, a bird of prey rehabilitator. Some birds aren't able to go back into the wild due to permanent injuries and can be cared for by rehabilitators. It was awesome to be so close to these winged beings that I would probably never see otherwise. This Saw Whet Owl was my favorite, one of the smallest owls averaging 7-8 inches!
I stumbled upon this about a year ago. In landscape photography it’s usually important to plan out a shoot. I rarely do. I would have liked better light but at least I had clouds and a bird.
I’ve been looking through old winter coastal shots. I love going to the shore with my 📸 this time of year.
Sometimes the best shots are the ones that you never plan for. While shooting this sick reflection, I was moving my tripod a little to the left, when this tall grass came right into the middle of the frame; and I gotta say, I’m really diggin’ how it came out🌅🔥👌🏻
