H E R D Y T H U R S D A Y
It's the greatest day of the week, folks! The day we can all celebrate the woolly wonderment that is the herdwick sheep; our kick ass, hard as nails mountain mates. Don't forget, you have to say "Herdy Thursday" as the Swedish chef from The Muppets, otherwise it doesn't work 😁
I do love these critters so damned much* and I think the Lakes would be a very sorry place without them.
This was a very scruffy looking gal down in Langdale. She obviously didn't get the memo about her photoshoot that day! That face is pretty special though - I almost feel guilty about tonight's lamb chops. Almost. 🙈
* I'm not a sheep shagger.
Happy #herdythursday everybody!
Homely; yet so elegant in the sky...
Misunderstood; yet so necessary... I seem to have had some amazing luck photographing vultures this past year.
My secret is to set the camera to continuous and pray.
Sunrises and sunsets are very volatile and unpredictable. This day, a couple weeks ago, was one of those rare times when I knew it was going to be good sunset since late afternoon. The clouds were morphing and changing non stop along with a plethora of changing colors in the sky. I wish I had 2 cameras with me that evening.
Wonder how we rushed to car and turned on heater moments after this.!
Little bit of off-road fun and loads of " Fuckkkk bohhot thand hai "
Spiti is just magical the sky remains blue throughout the day and bare mountains start splashing colours as the sun begins to go down .
I also did some aerial videos but haven't made anything out of them.
I will try and make something out of the footage and keep you all posted.
Thanks for the love and support you all are showing!!
