I usually don’t post iPhone quality pics here but wanted to show the fun side of me for a bit. There’s more photos but Instagram only allows 10. 😭Anyways, was so excited to attend the new museum🤩 One of the best museums I’ve been to so far.🙌🏼 Pc to my sister and the iPhone tripod.
I don't usually like city or discount passes when we travel because we tend to like to take things easy at our own pace. That said, the Osaka Amazing Pass ended up being extremely useful for us as we got to cover some of the most popular Osaka attractions in one day!
We went up Osaka Castle, possibly the most famed attraction in the city, then got really dehydrated because of the super hot weather. But then, we discovered the Illusion Museum beside the Castle which was included in the Pass - and it was air-conditioned! 😆 We then went up 39 floors to Umeda Sky Building observatory and enjoyed a fantastic view of #Osaka and ended off the night with a Tombori River Cruise. With a gorgeous sunset, no less!
Total entrance fee of the attractions far exceeded the cost of one Osaka Amazing Pass, and it included FREE subway and bus transport too! I think we could have maximised the value of the Pass if we wanted too since it covers a total of 30 attractions like river and harbour cruises, museums, the zoo, botanical gardens, a natural onsen and more. I pre-booked my Passes via @klooktravel_sg (they have a best price guarantee) and picked them up fuss-free at the airport. No queues, now this one I likey. 😄
Museum of illusion, Muscat.
Museum of illusion, Muscat.
The museum is a lot of fun, lots of kaleidoscopes, fake mirrors and stereograms. Do not miss the rooms with various optical illusions, such as the anti-gravity room, or the room where you magically find yourself upside down with your head down. The highlight of the museum is the tunnel vortex. Before entering, it didn't look like much, and instead we were "catapulted" into a rotating cylinder while we were exactly still; really a hoot. Do you like these particular museums?
