Conservatory Garden is a formal garden in the northeastern corner of Central Park, located approximately between 104th and 106th Streets west of Fifth Avenue. Comprising 6 acres, it is the only formal garden in Central Park.

[A case for expressing character traits out loud]
I used to argue that if you have to state something, you probably aren’t being that thing. For example, if you have to say, “I hate drama,” or “I’m an open person,” you are most likely the opposite.
I think I’ve recently changed my mind about this. I think making statements about who you are (or want to be) is a positive practice. My exception to this rule comes where people use it to excuse toxic or harmful behavior. Your actions MUST still align with your words because you can not inherently do the opposite and expect people to continue to believe you.
However, I think stating positive emotional, psychological, and physical traits help develop a symbolic relationship with yourself.
I had a dream last night where a teenage girl was talking with a group of peers, and I could hear her. At one point, she said, “you know, because I love myself…” in a completely sincere tone and I felt a sense of joy rush over me. My dream self thought, “YES! Love yourself. Yes.”
When you state your attributes like:
I am strong
I love myself
I am transparent
I am understanding
I am enough
Outloud for yourself and others who are supportive (this is an essential part since you want these things to be reflected back to you), you create a new kind of awareness where you can check-in and see where you are in relationship to these traits.
That awareness is twofold, because if you feel you’re nailing it, you will gain more confidence and indeed become those things on a deeper level, and if you find you may be falling a bit short, you now have the opportunity to implement a tiny action that in turn makes these statements true.
So this way, the inner becomes the outer becomes the inner once more, and everyone wins, including yourself.
I wanna know what your favorite trait about yourself is. Post in the comments below 💕
@mush Product review : 4.5/5⠀
I recently saw this product pitched on @sharktankabc and thought it would be worth trying out. Mush is a dairy free overnight oat meal made with only 6 natural ingredients. ⠀
I popped into my local Whole Foods and grabbed the flavors wild blueberry, dark chocolate and vanilla bean. If I were to start with my least favorite it would have to be the dark chocolate. If you are not a fan of raw cacao I wouldn’t recommend this flavor. Otherwise, the other two are incredibly tasty and have the perfect consistency. The oatmeal is not too watery but not too thick. I also love that the packaging is compact and comes with a spoon. ⠀
My only complaint is that it’s 4 dollars; however, I understand that they need to make money on their product. I would recommend this to anyone who is always on to go or needs a quick pre workout or post workout snack!

when you lose touch with inner stillness, you lose touch with yourself. when you lose touch with yourself, you lose yourself in the world. .. your innermost sense of self, of who you are, is inseparable from stillness. this is the i am that is deeper than name and form. 🌙 #wednesdaywisdom

This isn't the exotic wilderness of Nova Scotia. It is right in my backyard and it's absolutely stunning with the skyscrapers lining the background. And here I get to experience it with my favorite boy 💙🧡

Uma das perguntas que mais me fazem é: o que não poso deixar de conhecer na sua 1ª viagem a Nova York? Se você tiver somente tempo para conhecer três lugares, eu sugiro:
- Times Square
- Central Park .
- Memorial do 11/9
E você? Quais os lugares que não podem faltar na sua lista?
