I got greeted by snowfall in Auli .
This was the first time I witnessed snowfall and it was all Magical.
I traveled to this place Solo and reached here after doing bus journey of 12 hours and after changing 3 local buses .
It was so damn tiring but the whole journey was immensely beautiful with jaw dropping views ❤️
Next day morning I took cable car for Auli from Joshimath .
Wished so hard to witness snowfall and it was a clear sky day.
But like I always say "Universe listen to you and your wishes"
And around 3 pm there was a drastic change in weather.
High winds and dense clouds surrounded all the mountains.
And yes my 12 hours travel to Auli was fruitful 🏔️🏕️
My first ever Snowfall .
I can say - I just got lucky to witness snowfall in Mid March 🏔️❤️

May the darkness never fall on our beautiful land of Ladakh. Hope we will be able to preserve and respect the true essence of Ladakh through out this political turmoil.

Just 2 wooden logs, few pieces of stone & water gushing beneath.
Will you dare to cross this bridge which is just 2 feet broad?
Trekking seems to be fun when you check out few instagram profiles, It can be fun if you follow proper safety precautions.
Best mommy 🧡 and a travel partner too (sometimes ☺️). .
Planned Pondy trip mainly for her, wanted to take mum to southern mountains but these days her legs get exhausted and painful if she hikes a little or walks around in hilly area. So we chose to go beaching, and our previous trip together was to Allepey. She said that probably next year we can go mountains if her legs feel good.
We made some good memories on the colorful streets of Pondy, laughed, had fun scooter rides as the weather was all cloudy and windy, watched sunsets together, had amazing food at the cafes and bakeries and also got a little drenched..which actually was not bad, but fun.
So yeah.. it was great! and I wish to show her more new places. 🌻
Tell me about you! Have you ever traveled with you mum? .
All of this art and colour got me squealing 😍
Taiwan’s got this really cool thing where they take old buildings and turn them into creative hubs - places where artists and artisans can come together and just... create. I saw a lot of these places all across the country, but my favourite has to be the Cultural Heritage Park in Taichung. This used to be a brewery during the Japanese rule and was active as one till redevelopment and burgeoning land prices caused operations to shift outside city limits. It was only recently that the land was taken over and developed into home for art and culture, and honestly? I’m all for it.
I mean, wine vats painted with scenes taken directly from the artists’ mind, installations that can only be called weirdly impressive, a journey through Taiwan’s tribal history, an understanding of its distinctive architecture styles, traditional art forms that you can even try your hand at, and all of this set inside a brewery.. I mean, what is this mishmash of times and places? 🤩
I found myself chasing art a lot this time. Subconsciously. There’s a lot I don’t understand, but I’m trying to. I’ve been looking for stories in places and people, and art is a channel too. Maybe I’m trying to see things from a different perspective, or I’m trying to interpret visuals in search of something; I don’t know. But the more I travel, the more I try to unravel the stories in a person’s mind, and the more I look for different ways of doing it. It’s not so much about the place anymore, as much as it is about the people, sort of like a key to understanding the place itself, don’t you think?
So tell me this. If I were to come to YOUR city, what is the ONE place you would recommend I visit?
