Old memories, young hopes...
Memories are so powerful.
Science may not give access to time travel but memories can..
just a flip of an album and you are back in memory lane of past. You can relive those moments again and again and again...
Its quarantine time and we are all locked down in our home, so lets cherish the happy time. Lets flip some pages of past and see how beautiful our life was and it still is. be grateful for anything and everything we had and we have right now. .
Lets look into the future with hope of better tomorrow,
A brighter day which will take us out of this cage,
Lets learn from our mistake and work towards achieving perfect equilibrium between humans and nature.
Stay home, stay safe, keep hope, spread positivity around you.

With the onset of 2020, whole world is fighting the uninvited battle against covid -19 virus. The coronavirus suddenly presents an ambiguous threat to all, throwing our society into a time of great fear and uncertainty.
The virus has hit the western countries badly. It is disturbing to see multiple painful deaths around the globe. Spain has been facing toughest times with death number varying in triple digits everyday.
Other than my motherland (India), I am always fascinated with Spain and its culture.Apart from being super friendly and helpful, Spanish people have high regards for their families, and are lover of food and arts like Indians.
Today, In the tough times, I pray that Spain and whole of the world recovers soon from the outbreak of coronavirus.
One of the best Saturday nights spent so far..! Clarke Quay, situated on the banks of Singapore River, is a never sleeping thoroughfare with a number of neon-lit pubs and is always brimming with tourists.
It’s the most sought after place to enjoy evenings and hang out in Singapore.
Giggling over jokes, Turkish icecream in one hand and breeze playing with our hair- @firstname.lastname@example.org@ketha_life and I have spent some timeless moments on this street. ~Wishing for similar moments soon~
I'm not thinking of the future. Not because it panics me but because it's futile! The fact that tomorrow is unpredictable is as real as life itself and I've become able to believe it like never before.
This very month I was supposed to be in the far mountains of the Baltistan region in Ladhak starting my volunteer work with @teachforladakh....Before the pandemic, I woke up every day thinking about the time I'm going to spend by the river, reading and writing under the cherry, apricot blossoms, and imagined how it would feel like sleeping under a million stars on a chilly rooftop of my homestay!..... Now here I am, home quarantined, staring at the starless & dull city sky but all I feel is gratefulness! Yes, my plans fell apart .
But, I still make my coffee how I've always made, I still have work to earn a living, I'm with my family, we have a comfortable house with enough food supply! Yes, its a privilege and I'm grateful! .
The first place where I will take you to explore with me is London!
I spent 3 weeks exploring the beautiful city of London in the month of July'19.
In my blog I will talk about the must visit tourist spots where my blog will be your personal guide, restaurants where you can binge-eat a number of cuisines, pubs where you can forget about being sober, cafes where you must have your snapchat camera ready, sunset points where you can just carry a bottle of beer and relax with your friends, shopping streets where you can find things that you will not find in other parts of the world, stadiums where you hear the echo of your own voice, parks where you can take a stroll and immerse yourself in the nature!
WELCOME TO LONDON!
I have also written a quick guide about the Top Parks in London, available on my blog.
Link is in the bio!
This picture is quite old & darn special to me. Why? 🤓
•It was my first Eurotrip (almost 4 years back).🤩
•This country holds a special place in my heart. 🌚
You see, I realised a little too late in life, that I have a penchant for travelling. So I finished my studies, my post-grad & started my job in an ad agency. My salary was meagre. Literally. I used to earn peanuts. But I had one thing in mind- I’ve wasted 24 years of my life not exploring the world. I’m not gonna waste a minute further. So, I started saving up almost 60% of my salary. I cut down on my outings, shopping & any fizul kharcha. Result? I saved up enough to undertake my first ever fully self-sponsored trip to my most favourite continent! Man, I got goosebumps just typing this. 💁🏾♀️
I thought I’ll never share photos from this trip on my page, as it holds a very remarkable role in my life. But looking at how things are today, it only seemed natural to reminiscence about it. ✨
I fought tooth & nail with my boss to avail my leaves. And boy oh boy - the joy you feel when your leaves are approved? It’s PRICELESS. 🤩
So, here I was in Madrid, Spain on my first ever day in this smallish pretty street and I couldn’t contain my excitement. Life never felt so better. And from here on, there was no looking back. I travelled like a madwoman, and I still do.
I covered quite a few cities in Spain followed by a short visit to Portugal. I will be sharing all of my escapades here.
I hope you’ll are finding these small bits of happiness from the past, to keep yourself going. Just like I did🙃. #unfinishedtravels#wheretonext#womanwhotravels#european#madrid#madridspain#girlslovetravel#travel#europe#eurotrip#socialdistancing#travelletes#womanwhoexplore#streets#traveldiaries#spain#shotoniphone#indiantraveller@cntravellerindia@cntraveler@globetrottinggirlsindia@travelettes@girlslovetravel@beautifuldestinations@hostelworld@spain
The good time is just a cliche. In reality, it's us who deduce situations according to our feelings towards them. So, ideally during #self -quarantine don't let your heart stop, keep it going and love the things that are around you. Remember, its just a phase and we can live it happily.
