👒 NATURE 👒 “We believe in harnessing the power of nature. That’s why all of our fragrances have lots of essential oils in them. We love the depth and character natural oils bring to a fragrance, and the uplifting, invigorating and energising properties they can offer.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“When you learn to see the primordial light inside yourself, you can begin to understand your individuated beauty within our vast cosmos. Darkness and light have roles to play in helping the soul develops beyond shame and guilt. Many of us consider ourselves failures and unnecessary in the grand scheme, performing all manner of tiresome tasks to prove our worth. Who are you trying to please?
Our personal and collective value persists in the fact that we all hold the energy of source within our current reality frames and physical spaces. Existential individuation is a signature of the [higher power’s] blessings upon all the beings of the cosmos. Now let your light shine within your being, knowing that we all hold volumes of creative intelligence, detail and light into the Akashic cells of our glorious architect.” -
Weddings are a good venue to get in touch with one’s roots and can also be a venue for culture to show how it has been evolving through time. This clip is taken from a community wedding, which also showed the marriage of the traditional and modern cultures. Seen in the clip are two of the couples godparents, donned in modern attires, dancing a local wedding/courtship dance. In the olden days, dances were once a way for gentlemen to court the ladies, and once the lady accepts the hand of the gentleman, it is also synonymous to them becoming a couple. Courtship before required a great deal of personal effort and appearance, with dances, music, poetry, and the likes involved, all at once.
For many of us, it is so easy to see the talents, the beauty and the light in others. We love, admire or even envy them for their magnificence and at the same time are blind to our own. We take for granted what makes us special. And we do this because we grew up in a society that focuses on performance, on achieving set standards, rather than on supporting individual talents. This creates competition and the underlying feeling of not being good enough.
I wish for a world in which everyone is aware of their uniqueness, their individual talents and gifts, and the value of their very personal perspective on the world, and in which we can celebrate this together.

I literally had the strangest dream I’ve had in years this morning. The people that know me, know my dreams can be incredibly complex and weird, but this one is really out there. Wouldn’t really know where to start explaining it. Was based in the house I grow up in, with my children, parents, sister a Nun, UFO’s, dogs, being gassed, my cleaner was in it also, really really odd 😳😬. Can’t work out what it was all about. Will probably spend the rest of the day thinking about it. Anyone else get effected by there dreams? #dreams#dreamcatcher#dreamer
Did You Know: Your iris has 256 unique characteristics; your fingerprint has just 40
Our eyes are completely unique and is used for biometric purposes. There are two core parts in our eyes that even show relatively high biometric entropy. The first is the eye iris and the second is the eye retina that lies inside the eye that is not observable by the naked eye of the observer. A biometric health screening can be done and is defined as "the measurement of physical characteristics such as height, weight, body mass index, blood pressure, blood cholesterol and blood glucose”. The earliest form of Biometrics appeared on the scene back in the 1800's. Alphonse Bertillon, a Perisian anthropologist and police desk clerk, developed a method for identifying criminals that became known as Bertillonage.
With the widespread use of computers in the late 20th century, new possibilities for digital biometrics emerged. Although the idea to use the iris for identification purposes was suggested in the 1930s, the first iris recognition algorithm wasn't patented until 1994 and became available commercially the next year.
Circa 2017. I’ve always loved fashion. Am I very “fashionable”? Nah. Do I care? Nah. I love comfortable + cute. I love different. I love affordable. I’ve worked fashion retail most of my 20s. I love it. It’s so personal, which can make it difficult. Still, I love styling. I mostly love styling myself because then I don’t have to argue with anyone about my fashion sense 😜 Be true to you, girl! There’s no one else like you out there 🥰

Meanwhile at my Lodge after the best pizza ever from the @tapocolodge . Life is good. A few nights ago I tried to avoid hitting what I think was a coyote . If you have followed me on @instagram you might know I had just completed a frame up #restomod of my Mazda CX 7. I hit a guard rail totally ripping out the right rear quarter panel. I'm still driving it though. Minus the rear bumper. You might ask why I would do such. I will tell you why. My God is Good, I could be dead. So for me my CX 7 is a symbol of what could have been. You never know what life has in store. Live your life to the fullest. If you don't have faith you will live in fear. Live in faith. #personalstyle#individuality#faith#nofear#thankful#blessed#believe#godisgood#always

Gifted | Thankyou so much @lottie_dolls for sending these awesome dolls for the children to play with!
They are dolls inspired by real children and they believe that dolls don't have to be gendered to be played with.
The creators 'Arklu' stayed true to their own values in making these dolls and created something unique, distinctive and innovative.
We recieved a Brownie Doll, Kid Activist, Brownie Canoe Adventure Playset, Brownie Outfit Doll set and Sirius the Welsh Mountain Pony.
Lottie believes in -
1. Addressing positive body image awareness.
2. Encourage participation in STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths)
3. Promoting reading amongst kids.
4. Promoting gender equality.
5. Actively demonstrating to all kids that they can achieve anything they set out to accomplish.
6. Encouraging kids to get outdoors and keep healthy.
7. Having crowd-sourced child inspired product at the the core of their development.
8. Their tagline is 'Be Bold Be Brave Be You'
9. Never to compromise core brand values over profit.
10. Highlighting the impact of bullying
The children were super happy to play with them, they are high quality and affordable while promoting interactive play.
I was really excited they made dolls of different ethnicities as two of my children are of mixed origin so being able to see dolls that reflect those characteristics is really cool.
The dolls have ball joints with bendable knees, easy to pose for imaginative play and Phthalate free vinyl plastic with a soft feel.
They are also based on the average proportions of a nine-year-old child rather than those of an adult woman, Lottie Dolls celebrate childhood and promote the empowerment of children.
Illness isn’t one size fits all 🦄 You can share a diagnosis with a friend AND have totally different daily experiences — while relying on different wellness tools 🛠 So many friends, family members + acquaintances forget this when they offer suggestions to *feel better* from the one person they knew with your condition 🙈 Remember: There‘s so much we can learn from each other by sharing info and what we go through 🤗 But your healing journey is as unique as your fingerprint 👣 and there is nothing better than listening to your own intuition 💫
