The 2014 José Zuccardi is mostly Malbec with 5% Cabernet Sauvignon from Altamira and Gualtallary. It fermented in concrete vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in large oak foudres. There is great austerity and balance here, with more bone than flesh. There's never any excess ripeness, extraction or oak. Serious, focused, deep, mineral and long. Truly outstanding. 30,000 bottles produced.
🍷Paul Jaboulet Aine Hermitage La Chapelle 1988 #pauljabouletaine#hermitage#rhone
After start drinking wine few years ago, a mature and high quality wine from Rhone is something I have yet to taste. I was lucky enough to get this bottle from my last visit to HK, and decided to open it as my patience has finally run out 🤣😂
No decanting was needed for this 31 years old beauty! Amazing nose of plums, red fruits, dried leaves, leather and hint of tea and mushrooms.
It’s medium bodied with full integrated tannins. Perfect balance between fruit and acidity. Great structure fill with numerous layers of depth and complexity. Long finish with notes of red fruits and leather.
Although a bit past its peak, this 1988 Hermitage is still very pleasant to drink. My first experience of mature wines from Rhone will be one that I’ll never forget. Great stuff from @pauljabouletaine 👍🏻
Ieri sera con Amici ... Un bianco importante , lo conoscevo ma mai provato ... Sorpreso piacevolmente
Fruttato , pesca a primo impatto , intenso e secco , assaggiato molto fresco . Lo consiglio vivamente abbinato con pesce e verdure
Last night with Friends ... An important white, I knew him but never tried ... Pleasantly surprised Fruity, peach at first impact, intense and dry, tasted very fresh. I highly recommend it paired with fish and vegetables
What many don’t realise - or expect - is the excellent champagne list offered by @penfolds fine dining restaurant at Magill Estate. From Krug’s 1979 vintage to some of the hardest to source single vineyard grower champagne, the list is perhaps the best and most diverse in South Australia.
It was a pleasure to interview Restaurant Manager, Rudranil Das, today on the philosophy of the restaurant and plans to further diversity its champagne offering. 🍾🥂
A walk through history @larkmead_vineyards. But going forward, how do we continue to preserve and further prosper upon what historical wineries like Larkmead have accomplished? @danpetroski and I sat down and spoke about both climate change and sustainability specifically in Napa Valley. Give it a listen on @applepodcasts or @spotify

tonight’s wine: Yacht Rock by @tankwinery in #calistoga ✨⛵️✨ 76% Chardonnay, 11% Colombard, 9% Pinot Blanc, 4% Semillon full of tropical notes: pineapple, key lime, & lemongrass... all inspired by the cool chill yacht rock music by Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, and Hall & Oates. I’m a huge fan 🏝 #slswine#tankwinery
The team Gladstone Vineyard are excited to announce the FIRST EVER release of the Single Vineyard Pinot Noir!
Meticulous fruit and clone selection from our Dakins Road vineyard have resulted in a wine destined for the cellar of any serious wine connoisseur. *With only 2400 bottles produced…..you better be quick!* 🔸
This intensely layered Pinot Noir exudes a harmonious balance between power and elegance. The luscious aromas of red and black bramble berries are lifted by streaks of pretty florals that are complemented by a savoury minerality. A robust and structured palate finishes with a vibrant, distinguished acidity coupled with silky smooth chocolatey tannins. 🔸
Champagne 🍾 !
Pol Roger a personal favourite of mine.
For me it elegant, balanced, refined.
Burst of fresh citrus, green pears, brioche and almond meal.
Pop a Pol and enjoy the ☀️ 🥂

For seafood, we have Oysters, Mussels, and Salmon. All fresh and preserved under super low temperature to retain the signature sweetness of seafood. And to compliment their original texture and flavor, we will prepare them in fresh dishes or well-seasoned, cooked dish.
These food go beautifully well with sparking wines and champagne, which is also our main selection for the day. Just come to our brunch. You'll thank yourself later!

Lambrusco vinified without any skin contact and so it is bianco. Quite floral, green apple and peach on the nose. Fresh and savory with lovely mango favour. A thrist savior while you don’t want to have any serious wines before sleep.
happy tuesday!! let’s celebrate with a nice glass of wine 🍇🍷❤️

We might be a little excited about these @tenuta_san_jacopo wines! We had so much fun pouring them yesterday at the IVSA salon, & at today's Italian Trade Commission flagship event "A Tasting of Wines from Italy", which connected Italian wine producers & their agents with Canadian wine buyers.
Thanks to Ann Dow, Tenuta San Jacopo Export Manager, for coming to Vancouver to share these amazing wines
2 are currently in market & we shared a few other gems not in market quite yet…contact us for more info
Tenuta San Jacopo ORMA del DIAVOLO IGT Toscana 2015
This delicious wine from San Jacopo has a complex nose of black cherry, dried flowers, and sweet Asian spices. On the palate it's full with soft, elegant tannins. Warm, intense and with a lovely long, velvety and fruity finish
And also new in market & available to private stores & restaurants
POGGIO ai GRILLI RISERVA 2015
91 points, Decanter
Rustic, ripe charm from this 90% Sangiovese, 10% Montepulciano. Aromas of wet soil, balsamic strawberries and sweet spice lead to a silky palate with soft tannins, fresh acidity and savoury red cherry fruit
Another dedicated producer Travaglini from northern Piedmont. Here DOCG Gattinara home Spanna (Nebbiolo) dominant wines. Rustic, earthy, elegant and textured. If you haven't tasted these...put them on your list. Ageworthy! Think steak and strong cheeses.
This part of Piedmont has 1000 feet of elevation on rolling hills. Low yield plantings feature prominently. Use of slovanian oak barrels over 2 to 3 years helps to bring softer edges to this powerful style. There are very specific ageing requirements for these wines. Also they make an incredible appasimento style. Wow!
Birthday Month | A brut rosé that will pull the usual trick of deceiving you into thinking it’s a lot sweeter than it actually is, based solely on the electric-pink colour. There is a little sweetness in there, but it only serves to off-set the spiciness of the short ribs

Château Pichon Longueville Baron and Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande were once combined. In 1689, Pierre Desmezures de Rauzan started buying plots of land close to Latour which became Enclos Rauzan. Part of these lands was separated as a Dowry when his daughter, Thérèse de Rauzan married Baron Jacques Pichon de Longueville. This was to be the original Pichon Longueville estate. After his death, the estate was separated between his children. His two sons received two fifths of the vineyard and the wine-making facilities which became Pichon Baron. His three daughters received the other three fifths which became Pichon Comtesse de Lalande.
❤❤❤MERCUREY ❤❤❤ What's your favorite Bourgogne appellation. For me, every time I see a mercurey, I automatically grab them. The duality between softness and taste is usually so satisfying and it's one of the rare places that I can actually afford. I love me some Meurseult and some Pommard also, but my bank account don't have the same opinion.
Château de Chamirey is one of the most recognized estate in Mercurey. The Domaine of Château de Chamirey, planted in the best terroirs of Mercurey, covers 95 acres of which 38 are located amongst the most renowned Premiers Crus of the appellation. They succeeded in offerinf a great representation of the Mercurey potentila, and for this, i'm so grateful.

Remarkable Vosne Romanee 2015 from Domaine Georges Noellat.
Drinking Georges Noellat always puts a smile on my face. And this was at its sweet spot!
* Score : 92 Point
* Drink : 2022 ~ 2035+
* Comment : Highly Recommended
* Surface : 1.14ha in ownership (Les Jacquines, Champs Perdrix, Hautes-Maizières and Les Vigneux)
* Vinification : At least 70% de-stemmed, 4-8 days cool maceration, indigenous yeast fermentation, very few punch-downs, 2-3 weeks total cuvaison. Aged for 14 to 20 months in barrel (30%-40% new).
* Winery information
Georges Noëllat was the nephew of Charles Noëllat, who was once the proprietor of one of Vosne’s greatest domaines—a domaine who made important contributions to Domaines Jean-Jacques Confuron and Hudelot Noëllat, and even formed the vast majority of Domaine Leroy. As of 1990, Domaine Georges Noëllat sold its production to Jadot and Drouhin for 20 years. Enter 20-year-old Maxime Cheurlin in 2010, who consequently took over the management of the estate from his grandmother. Cheurlin grew up in Champagne, but it seems Burgundy wine is truly in his blood as he is a nephew of the Jayer family and a cousin of Emmanuel Rouget’s sons. Thus, he complemented his winemaking studies at the Lycée du Viticole in Beaune.
아직까지 $100 초중반에 구입할수 있다는 사실이 감사할따름이다.
보이면 무조건 사는 것이 정답이다.

Robert-Denogent - Les Sardines, is one of these great value wine that you have to try 😍‼️
This wine is one of my favorite Macon Village (I probably already posted about it 🧐). I drinked last time at @allenotheque_ on their sunny terrace after lunch. Probably the best way to enjoy this wine 😬✌️.
Les Sardines is produced since 2013 by Jean Jacques Robert with his two sons, Antoine et Nicolas from purchased grapes 🍇.
The nose is lovely, floral and completed by white fruits (apple 🍎) and brioche 🍞.
The palate is fresh, lively, opulent, with same aromas than the nose, completed notes of salinity 🤤.
A great acidity 💥 and a long finish on lemon notes 🍋.
Really a great refreshing wine, perfect to fight heatwave or to be paired with white fish.
