“A Space to Breathe" is a place of nourishment and refuge for BIPOC & Comrades to be seen and heard by community, explore meditation and other self-reflective techniques, yogic teachings, and embodied practices.
This is a gathering to support the community of those who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC), and their comrades.
Space will be held for all that's present in our community. Our gatherings will offer guided meditation, yogic breathing techniques (Pranayama), other techniques of Breathwork, Dharma (truth / wisdom), check-in and discussion, and sung mantras (Kirtan) for us to come in touch with our internal environment and excavate what needs to be seen, processed and embodied.
Meetings are held utilizing the framework of Yogic principles & philosophy applied as an opportunity to find nourishment in community and the teachings of Bhakti. Special guests and teachers will be invited to share their offerings with the group.
Note From Ira:
My hope and intention is that we may come together in a loving community effort to alleviate suffering by practicing, studying Dharma, and LIVE Yoga together as well as openly discuss our experiences living and navigating oppressive and biased social structures.
Yogis, soul seekers, and people from all spiritual backgrounds are welcome.
All who identify as BIPOC or are a comrade actively engaged in undoing whiteness or racial justice work are welcome.
A donation of $10 is greatly appreciated to help support our facilitators and associated sangha-related fees and is in NO WAY REQUIRED. If cost is the only reason standing in your way of joining, please directly reach out to email@example.com .
Donations will be donated to the BLM and Black Trans Lives Matter movement / organizations.
Feeling grateful ✨

One of the things my coaching clients often ask is “How do I develop an intentional Bible reading plan?” Life gets busy, mornings get hectic and that seems to be the first thing to go. •
Several years ago I discovered The One Year Bible (available on Amazon for around $10). The entire Bible is divided by days to include Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs reading. It makes reading through the Bible in a year so much easier! •
I also love a good cup of coffee first thing and having it in a cute mug makes me happy. It’s like my little “good morning” treat to myself (and I am NOT a morning person).•
Like anything you want to do consistently you have to develop a plan (and I like to go to the same place each time too) and practice it until it becomes a habit. I also get an extra bonus because Remi knows the routine so he cozies up beside me every morning ❤️🐶 I have found that now I really look forward to my time in the Word and can tell my days feel different when I miss it.
I heard @elisabethhasselbeck say on the @christybwright show this week, “Read the Good News before you read the hard news.” That really resonates with me as I seek to discern what is true these days. And it makes me even more grateful for my time in the Word as I hope to strap on the belt of truth each morning. •
If you’re struggling to read God’s Word consistently...just start somewhere! It doesn’t have to be perfect. We know from Isaiah that His Word will never return void. You will be blessed for your efforts. ❤️🙏🏻•
I would also love to hear what works for others who have found a great plan! Comment below to help encourage folks who are just getting started. 🧡🧡•

Someone apologized to me the other day, for being pro public school. I want you all to know that while it was never in our hearts to send our kids to school outside of our home, the division that is becoming ingrained in us hurts my heart. We seem to be losing the ability to be the light in dark situations, and shine that light to others EVEN those that don’t think the same ways we do. Every parent needs a cheerleader right now, or a hundred. The world is heavy, and I wish I could hug all of you, regardless of your school choices, regardless of whether you wear a mask or don’t, or whoever you are voting for. The hate, the angst and the division is getting us nowhere fast. Just like it may never be known why families homeschool, maybe for some public school is the best or safest for their child. Maybe it may nevee be known why someone isn’t wearing a mask, because they don’t wish to talk about a previous assault or panic disorder. Guys, LOVE more. Everyone. God did not say only love them IF ... no friends. There are no pre requisites here. In this space, there are no pre requisites and you are welcome here, and I hope YOU feel the light ✨
A Flower A Day: canna lily. Neighbours from around the corner have us these vibrant cannas. They’ve shared in our delight over the transformation of our property and have gifted us with various plants, being avid gardeners themselves! We love this neighbourhood and the people in it, and are excited that we’re all able to share in the beauty and joy that gardening brings to our little corner of the world!
GOD AM I DOING ENOUGH?
GOD AM I READING ENOUGH?
AM I PRAYING ENOUGH?
AM I SEEKING ENOUGH?
AM I SPENDING ENOUGH TIME WITH YOU?
GOD ARE YOU SATISFIED?
Some of the questions I found myself asking last week. Not that I felt like I wasn’t enough, I know I am more than enough. God is enough for me but I found myself wondering if I was giving him enough.
There is a difference between the enemy trying to make you feel guilty and question you about the time you spend with God than you sincerely asking yourself because your heart is inclined to wanting to please him. We should always have the urge to want to do more and more for God. When we become too comfortable where we are there is a possibility that we have adjusted to our surroundings and have stopped growing.
It's ok to examine yourself and keep yourself in check!
The things you think you’re bad at are largely a choice.
Hear me out, y’all. I’m so guilty of this-
“I just can’t cook.”
“I kill every plant.”
“I can’t ever complete DIY projects.”
You’re wrong. You can cook. It is a skill. Some humans are born with a ridiculous ability to cook and bake gloriously with no training. Most of the rest of them read recipes and take classes and watch tutorials. That is a skill. You CAN do it if you put in the energy and time.
You might kill almost all the plants. But is this because you naturally have a gray thumb? Or is it because you NEVER FLIPPING WATER OR WEED YOUR GARDEN?? Given, yes. If you plant a hibiscus in late fall in PA, it’ll die. No classes or tutorials are gonna fix that one. But you can read up on your gardening zones. You can ask questions at your local nursery. You can set aside time to weed weekly (or every few days). You can make watering your plants part of your routine.
Are you taking on DIY projects that are above your skill set right now? GREAT! Learn as you go, but follow the darn instructions and follow through! Finishing things is a skill that gets better the more you do it. Measure. Make precise cuts (yes, we can all laugh at the fact that I have to retrim every dowel on a current project, it’s okay- the irony doesn’t miss me on that one). Ask questions. Take classes. Watch videos.
Hear me out- YOU are capable of amazing things- once you give up the idea that all of these skills should come easy to you. They don’t. They take time and effort and patience and a lot of humility as you ask questions. And that’s okay! Next time you find yourself saying “I can’t _____” - challenge it. Is it “I can’t” or is it “I don’t”?
Take. That. Ownership. Back.
Pics: homemade chicken noodle soup, tomatoes and rosemary from my garden 😍, and a full dinner from the girl who “can’t cook”.
Move in day can be enjoyed! Trust me, when the goal is clear, every effort is made to make sure that a client can have their favorite cup of coffee and sleep in their own bed on day one of a move! #consideritdone#cidtexas#intentionalliving

I love gifts with positive words.
It shows intention and thoughtfulness.
The person actually took a few minutes to read this and thought “she’ll enjoy this” 🥰
This took me back to God’s intention for us by inspiring the Bible to give us an eternal boussole through life.
You can be up on a random morning drinking your breakfast shake and your eyes paused on the words on your mug or you remember an encouraging verse in the Bible, then suddenly you want to dance with praise because your heart is instantly flooded with contentment and peace that everything will be okay!
You’ll never have to look too far to find God’s peace if you can pause.
“Think Positive and Great Things Will Happen.”
Peace and light my people ❤️
🥱 If you need to take a break, you should.
Sometimes I wish social media had regular hours of operation and would "close" during certain hours. So some people can create a better relationship with their phone.
Being "on" and "available" through technology all the time can make it look like some people never rest. And there is this competition to always do more. But being successful AND tired is not cute 😣.
And I'll let you in on a secret 🤫, many of ya that use social media like a business, plan their content ahead of time, schedule posts, batch create content and have marketing strategies just like any other business you engage with online.
So I am here to let you know that you can rest without the guilt. And you can rest without justifying it to people. Everyone will always have a perception or story of what you actually do. And one of my favorite quotes come to mind..."what people think of you is none of your business." 💅🏾
Hope you make time to rest and ground yourself often 🥰
w e s p i n magic through our fingertips & our words. we are all so powerful. 🌞
everyone can be a writer, a vlogger, a singer, a photographer. all artistic tendencies are ways to share your story. and we are all artists.
and we need to hear your story. we all need to know we aren’t alone, & that you are a light worker too. we need to see that you are fighting on the side of love & not paralyzed by the fearful lens of society.
we want to see you unfold into that sovereign monarch that you are. will you unfold for us? will you reveal your colors to a grayscale world? we need to see you fly, so we remember our wings too. 🦋 👑

Showing up for your audience is important, no matter what size it is!
You might think "oh but you have 10K followers you can't know or remember what it's like to only have a couple hundred people" 😒
Well, I have 33 people right now in my FB group and I showed up for them last night.
Even after the long, challenging day I had! And I shared that in my Live video last night 📽
And I will continue showing up, I will continue inviting people to join and I will keep working at connecting with them in that group every week, cause I feel I want to serve others with my craft and need to get what I know out there!
How about you? Are you showing up as yourself for your audience?
Sit down, grab your coffee, & let’s chat
d i g e s t i v e issues shall we? Everyone’s favorite topic! 💩
When asked about my personal experience, I mentioned on my stories that I’ve previously struggled at times with being chronically, well, backed up. Ugh.
It took getting REAL about some unhealthy habits & dependencies I once had as well as implementing simple but effective diet & lifestyle changes to get my digestion back to doing it’s thing, naturally.
On the blog I’m doing a deep dive into:
▪️my personal journey
▪️the important role food plays (quality AND quantity)
▪️the brain-gut connection
▪️giving your body that chance to heal itself
▪️my go-to digestion helpers when the need arises
Post is up on the blog now - link in bio! #goodnesswithg
Finding more ways to enjoy simplicity🌿
I’ve recently made some decisions to continue to make my life more simple and zero-waste. I’m constantly growing and striving to shift my mind set to better myself and the planet💚 Buying clothes that are made from 100% natural material and supporting businesses that have a like-minded mentality is very important to me. I used to love wild patterns and always thought I couldn’t wear 2 solid colors together. Now I love it! I love the simplicity!❤️
The top I’m wearing was purchased through a friend who no longer wanted it. I was so happy to be able to purchase this through second hand. My pants were recently bought in Mexico from a little store, they are handmade in Oaxaca. It felt good purchasing these pants because I was supporting women from a small village who make clothes. Both these items are made from 100% cotton and when I wear them I know I’m not wearing any plastic or synthetic materials✨
It’s important for me to continue to stick with my decisions on how I want to live my life moving forward. When I make these choices I know that I am only one person but I hope to inspire others to take a look at the way they want to have an impact on our planet☺️

My whole heart 🤍 I literally spend every single day with these curly haired smelly boys, and I love it! These two always show me how much they love me, even when I’m having one of those short tempered ‘off days’ #quarantinecrazy
