Firstly apologies, I’ve realised during lockdown how awful my photo taking skills are in the evening/in general. I’m going to have to do one of those ‘Wowcher’ courses if i’m not careful 😆🙈! Anyway, I wanted to share our front garden update. Those of you who followed my stories will see I laid a bit of the good, old fashioned, real turf the other day. So it was only fair that I showed you the result after putting you through the monotonous raking of earth!
If I’m keeping it brief, we had a huge tree, it annoyed everyone apart from me if I’m honest. Then one night we went out to clap for our carers, it all went rogue and about 1 hour later it was down and our neighbours saw light for the first time in 20 years probably 😆🙈. I loved the privacy it once gave us but we have had it shaped every 12 months or so and actually it just looked messy. Gravel looked rubbish underneath, so did bark, then we tried grass, it died. Nothing worked. So it’s been a lovely new coffee area. I’m also aware I’m making so many coffee corners it’s a wonder I’m actually getting time to do anything else 🤣🙈. TRUST ME I AM!
Anyway, this was all done by us, the tree coming down, the paving, the planting, the sleepers for the bedding, the wiring (although helped by an electrician friend on the end of the phone 🤪 thanks Josh if the house blows up I’m blaming you 🤣!) relocating of shrubs and planting and of course the turfing.
So glad we did it now, the tree is now part of the ‘show logs’ collection. If anyone listens to @rosemarinoramsey podcast you’ll understand! 🌲 .

• happy Memorial Day! wanted to show off my thrift find of this solid oak coffee table! I sanded her down for a natural wood and gave her a coat of poly and I’m loving the vibes she’s giving off in this living room. time to cook some burgers and dogs with the whole family 🧡 what are you doing today?? •
Well rounded style is just a click away. We are OBSESSED with our new collection of dining tables called Kreis. ✨ The pedestal base and round top offer perfect symmetry, and the classic and simple form adds classic style to the space without cluttering the style.

How to evaluate the sustainability of a furniture/ home decor brand?
Nowadays it’s quite easy to find ethical and sustainable homeware brands. But on the other hand, finding furniture can be a bit harder to find. Here are 5 questions to ask when buys furniture and home decor that will help you figure out the sustainability of a brand: * What is it made of?
* Where do the materials and fabric come from? Are they certified?
* Where was this furniture made?
* Does the brand have a sustainability and ethical production manifesto? Do they have concrete measures, reports or are they too vague on their sustainability claims?
* Can this item be recycled, passed on, or discarded responsibly?
Fun story, the white metal frame barriers with corrugated acrylic was actually a last minute design! The client decided they needed more privacy between the booths and wanted to put up full height walls weeks before opening. I successfully convinced them to do these semi transparent barriers instead for more light and less $$ 🌞 Win-win 👏🏻 they turned out so great!
Sono convinta che indettagli fanno la differenza..
Infatti prima di comprare qualcosa ci penso e ripenso se può stare ben nel contesto in cui pensavo di mettere quell’oggetto!
A parere mio..per il momento non ho mai sbagliato! 🥰
Vi siete mai pentite di qualche acquisto?
Buona serata 😊💕

What a gorgeous bank holiday Monday ☀️
We made our own little afternoon tea and spent yet another day in the garden. I’m really trying to make the most of being off work as next week I’m back to being a full time teacher 👩🏼🏫
Remembering those we’ve lost, and honoring the sacrifices they’ve made for our freedoms ✨

Hoppsan!
